Gonna be a fascinating Leicester all star xi team playing first team football around Europe's top leagues next season.

Big Dan in Milan. Cags. Kasper in Nice. Youri. Madders. Barnes. Kels. Castagne. Faes. Soumare. Mendy. Perez. Possibly JJ and/or Ricky.

Absolutely staggering the more I think about it. One of the great, if not the greatest, of Premier League car crashes

Still the greatest shock in history winning the league …..

do take your point though but we all know that BR was a complete fraud…..even the press are slowly recognising it …..we move on!

Brendan never forgave Soy for the spurs home meltdown. Yet continued to play Ward for about 30 prem games in a row

I thought it was the spurs away game when he didn’t go in for a tackle and they scored from it

Think that's a stretch, better then what we had yes, but not excellent.

True but a bit like with the Maddison missed penalty against Everton last month, then Soyuncu being frozen out by Rodgers for most of this season before Smith could have been the difference between staying up and not, had Amartey not started and played in all of those games under Rodgers this season!!

That's a long grudge to hold!

Instantly becomes worth £30m+ and that will probably rise after a superb Champions League campaign.

Thanks again Brendan.

The PL frustrates other European teams with its wealth but also, clubs like us and west ham and Everton etc are seen as the biggest mug punters going.

Forking out 40m for that Halle. Or garbage like Cenk Tosun. Or Benkovic. Or Lukaku. Or Pogba. There's scores of them..total failures costing 100s of millions of not a billion and after 2 or 3 years are back in the bumdesliga, La Liga or Seriw A on a free

We've received the grand total of £0 for Cags and Tielemans. Great work by the club :appl:

It’s so bad, Soy was in the prem team of the year a few years back. Our whole model has been based on cashing in on our most valuable assets at a time when their value is highest. We will lose Maddison, Youri and Soy for a combined £50m max yet should’ve got £130m min if we had acted with proper due care

for the long term financial sustainability of our club and first team squad.

Caglar hurts the most.....why did Brendan let him rot on the bench for a whole season, surely Brendan knows we haven't got the money that the top clubs have to spend, so even if we had sold him for 30m then that would have been money in the coffers

We can add £0 for Amartey, Mendy and Perez so we can confirm our charitable status.

I still think our business before the last year or 2 means we will never be in the bracket of those clubs. Okay, they didn't go down. But they didn't establish a trophy winning club with a zero net spend.

Ask Sporting Lisbon (or whoever it was) 60m for Silva and Slim. Jesus H. We've financed that club enough for a decade

amount of players with 1 foot out the door contributed massively to this season's failures

He played his heart out when Smith have him a chance. Honestly think this narrative is bollocks tbh.

Players being out of contract is just part of football.

Haha...I'd be careful when you ring. Rudkin did the same and ended up bank transferring 30m for the weakest midfield I'm Europe. We may as well have signed Frankie Dettori

I agree with you, he did.

My comment was more about the squad in general not one player.

We had 30% of a 25 man squad out of contract this summer.

I'm sure you're handed in your notice in somewhere in your career and noticed your own level of commitment drop, its human nature even if its on a subconscious level.

Have 1 maybe 2 in the position maybe not a problem, but a 3rd of the squad?

At elite level the difference between success and failure can be 1 or 2% drop of in performance.

You think having that many players out of contract in the summer was a good idea?
