Can't handle the running. pretty much will be until there's significant investment from other clubs and/or a salary cap etc. Look at Liverpool, champions a decade or so ago then fell away massively because FSG pulled investment while Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal poured it in. Previously biggish teams like Donny Belles and Birmingham languishing in the lower tiers.. Needs huge investment to catch up with them, and this is our 4th season as a professional outfit. We're making improvements but we'd need to pour a lot more money in to catch up.
