I think with Coady, the backline organisation will improve, he's clearly a vocal player and will want to take control of the defensive line. For a player with his Premier league experience and perceived leadership qualities, £8.5m on the face of it, looks to be good business. 2

Lillehamring Posted 30 June 2023 Posted 30 June 2023 For anyone trying to judge Coady by how he played last year, apart from the difference in level, i think it's safe to say that unlike Everton last year, we're not likely to end up with the 4th lowest possession (42.5%) and 4th lowest pass completion (77%) so the game he will be expected to play will be very different. 1

And if there is 4, the other could be Awe given his contract has expired, or possibly Steffan.

Can’t speak for you but I don’t really follow other clubs business to the same level so generally I only hear about things on the main news outlets by which point it’s probably close to being wrapped up. With us I check-in at least every 5 mins from idle speculation to cringy signing video! 1
