What other premier league team would he start regularly apart from us? There’s your answer.

100%.

Going to matches last season, the question for me was who in the squad was genuine Premier League quality, and for me anyway, it was only KDH, Mads and potentially Fatuwu - the rest have either already proved they aren't good enough or just aren't good enough. We haven't been able to strengthen as much as we'd wanted to, and this is where we are.

I'm no Cooper fan by any stretch, but whoever is in charge is dealing with a severely limited hand.

I think winks is rigid in the way he plays, he fitted perfectly last season but one thing that wound me up a treat was the complete pointless 1-2’s he does, not as much this season as he has no time on the ball, literally passing the ball 5 yards back and forth a few times. This season teams are better, no space, different style and he’s missing. I wish it was different but skipp is miles ahead of him

Skipp, ndidi and winks will score no goals, play two but not three

To be fair to Ndidi, he's got 4 assists only 2nd to Saka, so he's doing his job to an extent. Winks on the other hand is completely useless when we don't have the ball. He has neither the physicality or the energy to be able run around, win the ball and then progress the play, Skipp does and should be 1st choice CM. If Cooper's tactics are to cede all territory and possession to the opponents, then Winks isn't his man. He has no usefulness in this system.

I liked Winks against Everton. Started a lot of attacks in second half and a lot comes through him in general.

Skipp is absolutely our best player though. Has potential to be an unreal signing.

Winks was utilised by Enzos system, but his previous seasons prove he comes up short as a regular premier League starter.

This is the case this season, we'd be stronger with Skip and Ndidi with  Buoacundo  as our starting three.

Sentiment gers in the way of facts.

Great in the Championship struggles to contribute in the Premier League not through lack of effort .

Think he's struggling  due to the way we're playing. When he does get the ball there is nothing to hit. The options are terrible.  Pirlo would  struggle  in this side at the minute

Nah - playing with absolute 🪖 around him - proper player - wouldn’t want any else in our squad anywhere near the ball

Terrible system does him no favours, non of this is his fault. He’s still slotting them through the lines and getting us up the pitch, great player.

It is absolutely his fault not tracking runners, make excuses about the terrorist football all you want but you can’t excuse him for not putting in the simple graft, tracking runners and putting tackles in. The game is passing him by at the minute and defensively he’s been absolutely honking

Sorry but I don't see a lack of effort from him, at all.
