Yeah one of the things he seems to have stopped doing is professional fouls, deffo remember him doing that often earlier in the season to prevent break away attacks.

He would always get booked for his first one. I presume they think it’s a risky tactic right now.

Thats sad, I have lost count the amount of times other teams have done it to us without a booking.

I reckon that like a lot of the squad, he's bollocksed. Added with a lack of confidence due to results in recent months exacerbating the problem.

I think this plays a big part. He's probably never played this much football in a season, even when fully fit. Looking at this seasons minutes in the league (not including today), he's played 2.5 more 90s than any other outfield player.

Braybrooke will challenge him for a place next season.

Thing is we don’t need him to challenge for a starting berth; we just need him to be good enough for 15-20 off the bench to give poor Winksy a rest now and then.

I am looking forward to seeing Braybrooke, but he has been out for a year with a nasty injury. I wouldn't pile too much pressure on him, and he might well benefit from a loan to a side where he gets regular match time.

I think he has been superb for the majority of the season, understandable that there is a dip at some stage if what is a gruelling schedule, he has played pretty much every game and usually plays the 90 minutes well.

My only concern is whether he provides enough protection to the defence.  Excellent player in possession but out of possession I think he is a bit lightweight and lacks the physicality and presence, I would like to see Hamza play there alongside Ricardo and push Winks further forward alongside KDH particularly against teams who will attack us more.

IMO that's one of the reasons we fell off a cliff so badly. In every game there's a pattern, if you bypass Winks and either Ricardo / Hamza, you're in immediately. On the transition we were so vulnerable over and over again today.

I am a bit suprised he's gone so far off the boil. Anyone can have a bad game, but he's been bad since Leeds away, which even though we lost wasn't down to him.

IMO it's a position we need additional cover and rotation in, which is why I think we tried to sign Sensi in January.

He's play the majority of are games, yesterday was he's 45th game, looks jaded and seems to have hit the wall.

Apparently we have used the least players of all clubs in the Championship after Cov, Preston, Bristol C. and Watford.

No wonder Harry and others are looking jaded and it goes to show that contrary to popular belief, our supposed riches have not bought us squad depth even at this level.

The problem with Harry is his (lack of) physicality. He’s a lovely footballer, neat and tidy and I love the way he sometimes carries the ball forward for us (seems to do that less now, probably because he’s knackered). The issue I have with him is how weak he is, he literally can’t tackle - this will really get exposed in the Prem.

I was calling for Hamza to be subbed for Ricardo yesterday before he turned it into a MOTM performance. He was loose in possession and put us in trouble that we were lucky not to concede from.

This has been a problem all season, Enzo decided only 15 players were worthy of his panel for selection.

I think he's been great all season but recent games he's struggled. But then, he's being let down by Ndidi's poor performances since returning and KDH phoning it in. Far more disciplined than any other midfielder we have and he's always going to look worse when the outlets he has are underperforming. Alongside someone (affordable and achievable) like Barkley, McAtee or another tidy, progressive CDM/CM would make more of his attributes.

We're overloaded in some areas like centre back and upfront, but really lack depth across the midfield and wingers.

He gets turned so many times at this level so in the Premier League it will be horrific to watch. Players physically fitter and faster in that league too. Turn him and gone.

Good post.

Said it many times………We supposedly have ‘The best squad to ever grace The Championship’. This is a bit of a myth, when it’s obvious Enzo only trusts his chosen few.
Winks, KDH, Fatawu & a few others are running on fumes.

Most can’t understand why Coady, Cannon & Albrighton have been bit parts.
Hopefully with the finish line in sight & promotion in our grasp, we get an extra lift.

I watched him for a spell on Saturday. He seemed to be hiding a bit?

It's weird because he's not a destroyer, he's not a creator, he can clearly play football and Enzo's identified him as a crucial link because of his ability to receive the ball under pressure and move it quickly, but I think at the top level you need to add more - either going forward, defending, or like the best in the world a bit of both.

I'd be happy if he was lethal from 30 yards or something, like a 5 goals per season worldie merchant or dead ball specialist, but he's not.

Certainly not been the leader we've needed through our tough spell but then his footballing background hasn't enabled him to experience that very often.

Seems a shadow of himself since his gaffe at Watford.

Overall he's had a superb season but need him to step it up these last three games.

Yes, he was ready under Rodgers. Injury has delayed it but he is ready ability wise. Just hope he stays injury free. Pre-season will be a crucial time for him to be ready.

How can you tell? He’s got literally no first team experience. Going from u23’s to potentially premier league is huge

Best player on the pitch most U21 games pre and post his injury, when he did come on vs MK Dons in the League Cup just before his injury under Rodgers he effortlessly slotted in.

He could easily have played it safe but he was demanding the ball and playing that deep lying midfield role that would suit Enzo's system.

I think he's ready.
