I’ve already responded to the Huddersfield behaviour. But to add if fans boo a player over rumours, allegations etc.. 

 

Then the player feels victimised or wronged (in their own opinion) what self respecting human is going to be clapping the fans that boo them? 
 

why as fans do we get so pissy about it? All I care about is 100% effort on the pitch as a minimum, im sure we would agree some players are not currently doing this. 
 

My arguments back tonight are that we are inconsistent in our behaviors towards players, over in most cases rumours, allegations and conjectures. 
 

We should all be raging at Enzo should he come back. According to Top he jumped ship, having committed to us and us planning a pre season around his wishes. Thats disrespectful too, right?

Nobody knows the many sides to the Winks/Manager alleged fallout(s)…Winks a seasoned player, Spurs, England, Europe, may well be quite well qualified to advise that the managers might not know what they are doing, based on who he worked with previously.

Andy King needs Harry Winks unless he wants to go the same way as Cooper, RVN or Marti…only quicker..and has nothing to lose by playing him….like I say, he’ll start at Birmingham……

If he's supposedly fallen out with 2/3 managers, all who had different approaches, doesn't that suggest that he is the problem and not them?

 

Behaviour on the pitch that has been cited here; Preston, Huddersfield and generally bottling 50/50's, walking around the pitch etc.

 

What's today's performance got to do with that comment you made?

 

Just because you want to ignore all that evidence, it doesn't mean somebody else is hating for the sake of hating does it? It's a ridiculous waste of money and ability that he's not in the team this year, but that's all of his own making (from what we know)

I think Enzo jumping ship is completely different, even if he committed and planned a pre season you don’t turn the Chelsea job down. I get it if he went to a bottom half pre team but a top 5 team

We lost to Charlton you didn’t imagine it. Did you realise Dumbfuvk okoli got sent off? Do you realise he “likely” cost us the game?

or are you saying that despite being low in numbers in midfield, and needing points that we should not include winks in the squad, despite him being our best midfielder?

The key word you’ve used is “supposedly” none of us truly know. You learn say 2-3 managers… which one of these managers has been good for us?

 

Enzo was good for us and he selected winks.

 

Kingy is a club legend and chose to bring him back..

Ok, let me rephrase. Based on the evidence we have, he's fallen out with 2/3 managers. Is that better? We're talking about what we have been made aware of, so all signs point to Winks being the problem. That may not be true but it's certainly more substantiated that you suggesting that he's not at fault.

 

Enzo selected him because he was his player? Then kicked up a stink when he left. That just underlines the point more.

 

Was brought back in because we were 4 cm's down this weekend, yet he was still picked behind Hamza and a 17 year old so hardly a ring endorsement.

Winks should not be tolerated. Clubs with any self-respect (ie not us) wouldn't.

 

How should we respond? By hounding out the symptoms and letting people know we don't tolerate the dismantling of the club. To not treat a bloke who hasn't started a PL win in half a decade like he's above us.

One thing Winks would be raging about and maybe upsetting the harmony is the fact that none of the last three managers set up like Enzo which was scandalous considering we won the league that way. We should have at least started last season playing that way. I’m guessing he niggled on about it and quickly ( but wrongly) lost heart and interest.

 I’m not condoning him nor do I like tippy tappy, the sooner 4-4-2 comes back in vogue the better, but it may be a thought.

Its not scandalous! Before he left, even Enzo experimented with a different take on the formation. I doubt he would have gone into the Prem blindly playing it the way he did.

 

Saying that, Coopers formation stank.
