Should say that both Ricky and JJ do actually have a left foot (they trust) able to take the ball which trippier doesn’t seem to.   Ricky also is happy to cross with his left on the run. JJ less happy to do that.  A two footed full back is clearly the best option which is why prime Ricky was so good. If cooper can continue to get into VK’s head about him being good enough and to try to cut out his lapses on concentration then we’re not so desperate for a left back in the market although having three full backs may not be enough to cover the whole season.

Not sure we can have just Kristiansen, JJ and Ricardo for a whole season, with the injury record of the both RB.

 

I think we need a LB.

 

Also the ability to throw on fresh legs is crucial in the PL.

 

Obviously that is discounting Thomas who already injured and probably done here.

Thomas is injured? Cooper said he was fine I thought!

I wouldn't if it prevents an attacking mid and striker, think they are priority positions for me.

No, he didn't want to change his position to fit Maresca's system.  Absolutely nothing to do with good or not good enough.

Thought he was one of our better players tbh? Traore didnt really get much change from him. If we had a mobile striker then his balls down the line could of been very effective. Look so much better with a natural left footballer at LB then Justin

Massively lacks composure and awareness. Can't pass a ball short for the life of him but can seemingly whip in the odd low cross. Such a strange player.

Extremely passive and doesn’t really have an outstanding attribute.

 

I can’t be watching him stand off wingers making crosses each week, we need better.
