Rowett seems to have a real soft spot for Mavididi. He's consistently one of our worst players every game, yet is a guaranteed starter. Some of his decision making today was comical.

Agree 100%. Kid is 16 and has about the same amount of football in him as this adult former Juventus player. I'd start Monga every time over this guy.

Monga has done nothing Tbf all the hype, yea granted he is so young had will improve, but I’m certainly not getting ahead with him

Sulky twat. Look at how he reacts when he gives it away or loses the ball. Zero end product, goals or assists have completely dried up. A waste of space.

One of the most disappointing  players of the season.

Potentially  good but has been consistently  abysmal.

Effort is severely lacking. Cant remember who.said it but I recall a potential itk saying he wanted out. Rings true now, certainly played thst way

Loves to stand on the corner of a box and do that overhit clipped cross or just pass it at a defenders legs.. Really liked him in 23/24 but he wont be missed..

He’s been absolute dung for nearly 2 1/2 years now

How he plays every week is one of the reasons we’re in the shite.

I appreciate Monga’s not progressed but he really should have had an extended run in the team rather than playing this waste of space

And that's why the argument than Monga isn't all that/hasn't done much is slightly redundant. We've seen flashes from Monga that we've never seen from Mavididi and they have a similar output with Monga having half the game time. Not to mention Mavididi gets more space than any player on the pitch (maybe some credit due for that). Give Monga that kind of space he'd create 10 times what Mavididi does.

Like all the present dross Mavadidi is not at his best but the LHS combination of Thomas and Mavididi is far more promising than the RHS of the now finished Ricardo and one hit wonder Fatawu who never defends and like today actualy delivers nowt. Get Fatawu on the bench and use him as an impact Sub.

Just imagine being a winger at LCFC you beat your man look up and what do you see a goal hungry centre forward waiting to attack your pass, you know where he wants the pass, you know he will bury it..........NO! ..........in reality all you see is Patson Daka an excitable puppy more interested in catching his own tale or Jodan Ayew looking for defenders to mark him.

Be fair guys, Stephi is not the problem, Monga is not yet the answer we need a proper striker.

Ps pains me to say but Ayew did look the part today

I await your condemnation.

Good in our promotion season been declining since

The whole team, club, running of the club as been in decline, name one thing that has improved? Other than contracts for the players and promotions for doing an absolute shocking job.

No idea when his contract is up but can see him being basically retired at 30.

Looks like he’s fallen out of love with football

I keep flip flopping between this and thinking he's yet another who just needs to get out of here and join a football club again.

Reeks of Antalyaspor.

Or, players aren’t marking Mavididi as he’s been shown to not be a threat. If Monga gets a defender, it means there’s other space that (by a good team) could be exploited.

Wembley Rangers in the "Baller League" more like.

Sky commentator persistently mispronounced his name yesterday and towards the end of the half claimed he was our biggest threat and had been terrorising the SW defence....

He genuinely hasn't played well since Enzo left

Thought he was OK for a spell towards the end of the first half. Second half totally anonymous. We have to give Monga a run.

Yep agree. I’ve said it before, he’s the player I expected we had signed - this season, rather than that first season with us which I think he’s still living off. I will say I don’t think it’s not from the want of trying with him. His confidence is shattered and he’s becoming too predictable to defend against.

I agree, was just trying to at least give some credit/balance

Yep, he works, just not very smart (with or without the ball). Plus he's the sulkiest player I've seen which adds to the narrative that he's lazy
