Course there is a bar outside the ground- or use the Holiday Inn bar pretty civilsed/Anyone ever noticed how welsh folk end a sentence with a question.Are you going to the football are you?

Watched them v Leeds after our game with Cov and thought they looked quite decent. 

Strong pacey forwards up against Vestergaard could cause us problems and they might not be as wasteful as Cov were. 

We definitely have enough to see them off if we approach the game right from the 1st whistle 👍🦊

Most people I see outside the ground seem to be drinking cans from the shop. Either that or get a pint at the hotel bar and walk off.

“Victor is back, Conor is out, Kasey is out. They are still doing some tests. It’s something in his foot. Hopefully he’ll be back in 10 days.”

 

Casadei?

“I know him very well. He gives us something different. He’s box to box. He’s not a pocket player. We have four attacking midfielders, and that gives us different solutions.”

 

What differences with Casadei?

“ Since I arrived I have told Kiernan, Dennis, Wilfred, you need to arrive in the box. Cesare you don’t need to tell him. We have four now and we can choose.”

 

Any departures close?

“At the moment, no. If some of them leave, we need more players.”

 

Cardiff?

“Very important test. Very difficult. They have played Leeds and were 2-0 up. The result at home was not fair. They hit the crossbar. It will be a difficult game.”

“Yeah, the same we saw from Kiernan. He scored against Coventry and against Northampton, very similar goals. The only way to score goals is to arrive in the box and Cesare is always there. For sure he is a big guy. He can give us this solution.”

 

Having to teach Thomas and Kristiansen something new?

“For sure as you say, they are two clear full-backs that in our system, they need to learn many things and to adapt. We are trying to do it but at the same time we understand that the best qualities for them is to play as a full-back. It’s the way they have played all of their lives. We are trying to teach them some concepts.”

 

Can they play like Ricardo does?

“No, I don’t think Victor and Luke they can play inside like Ricardo is doing now. Probably we can try to use them in different way, Victor in the way we are using Callum. Luke we are working with him to see how we can adapt him.”

 

Do you have a Winks alternative?

“Absolutely. We have Hamza who can play. We can play with Wilfred. Harry’s skills are different from Hamza and Wilfred, but we have players who can play there.”

 

Players you left out last week, were their heads not in the right place?

“No, I don’t think this. For some of them it was a technical decision and for some of them there are some noises so it was probably better for them to stay at home. It doesn’t mean they will stay at home today. We’ll see. We have a session today. If they are fit, we’ll take the decision.”

 

Had to tell players to find new club?

“Most of the time, the players already know, they can understand from day by day. But for sure I have spoken with them. They all know my idea about them.”
