Leicester Mercury website aka Internet Hell.

It used to be awful but it's changed a lot and I find it ok now. I have adblock and I  never see adverts that adversely affect my reading. As for the content, yeah that's mostly awful but I think Jordan Blackwell does a good job with his analysis of games and players. Obviously he's also pressured into producing regular clickbait.

Not really sure why Drinkwater wasn't a 10? Massive reason for the Championship and Premier League winning seasons and we sold him for 4000% profit.

Because it's written by the Mockery?

I was in agreement until we got to the 7s for both Gray and Amartey. Even putting on blue-tinted glasses and taking into account their length of service, they were both mid at best.

Then Smithies lol

You've also probably given the likes of Tete, Bennett and some of the Sven era signings like Ball, Bednar and Ricardo (goalie) a point too many. Especially folks like Bennett and Ricardo, who actively made our situation worse with their inclusion, probably deserve 1/10. We may as well have played with 10 men in that run-in 2020-21 and we'd have had more chance of clinching Champions League than with Bennett in the side.

Just to be clear if it isn’t, it’s the mercury reporters opinion, not my own 😊

Ulloa has to be a 10

This.

We all love Cambiasso right but he was only here a season. If hes a ten and a man who lifted the prem with the biggest balls in the league against West Ham, carried us vs Swansea at home, absolutely as instrumental as most in that season (plus the one before also!) he fully deserves a ten.

Some of the other scores are beyond a joke too.

Slimani scored important goals for us yet receives a lower rating than Gelson Fernandes

I think the top signing of the Top era that made a real and immediate difference was Robert Huth, he was a genuine guy who has a genuine love of the club and his partnership with Morgan is something we have never matched but should continually aspire to. Could anyone imagine us stringing 5 clean sheets together these days? The only one to run close would be Kante but he was only here for one season which is why I'd have him second.

without Huth we get relegated all day long in 14/15. The rest, as they say, is history.

Overall best signing under KP is Schmeichel but Huth runs him close i will agree to that

I always have to remind idiots of that about Slimani. Every single one of them Champions League nights were some of the biggest in our history and he played his part. He was a fat mess towards the end but don't rewrite history. Wasn't his fault the recruitment was as shortsighted as it was after the Premier League win. He probably thought he was going to have better players around him than Musa and Hernandez.

Our list of signings pre-championship win, first season in the PL and Title winning season was ridiculous value for outcome. If you listed our summer transfer window pre-PL survival for any other team going up now you’d have them down as relegated by Christmas - excellent work.
