We'll never know if we would have won the title with Pearson but what we do know we won it with Ranieri, end of.

And that we definitely wouldn't have won it without Pearson creating that environment, bringing together the squad that did it, the coaching, recruitment and medical teams that did it. Getting us into the league and keeping us there in the first place. What on earth are you hoping to achieve?

I've just presented two undeniable facts, not "hoping to achieve" anything.

When we sacked Ranieri, I requested a prototype for a T-shirt line of a picture of Nigel Pearson with the word messiah below. Unfortunately he didn’t return and I didn’t make anymore. But I wear the sole prototype shirt on birthdays and anniversaries.

Either you like stirring or your a bit dense. The bloke saved this club twice, saved it and transformed it, if you can't acknowledge it and bow down to it I can't deem you a proper fan.

I'd wear it every day

Read what I have written, then you'll see who is dense.

Might sound a bit OTT but I think there's a fair chance that Nigel might be the second coming of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Peace be upon him.

He's just a very naughty boy!

Big Nige was great for us and fit the bill on both occasions. He has carved out a great career albeit in the second tier.

I loved how he got players running through walls for him, he was at the genesis of the Vardy and Mahrez era.

I won’t miss his really quite painful to watch/listen  interviews.

He should get a good reception tomorrow as should Kingy - anything more than a clap at the start and end is a bit OTT. I really don’t get why people are more emotionally attached than that.

Still never truly forgiven him for selling Max Gradel for £200k.

I swear he's right footed

I don't get this whole "get over him". If you're pining for him to come in and replace Maresca, maybe, or 'actually' wanting us to lose tomorrow, but simply acknowledging what he did here? It's the first time he's managed against us in 13 years (only the third time ever as well I believe) and the first time since he last left us. It is simply going to be a point of discussion. Just like it would be should Ranieri or O'Neill manage against us.

I don't want 90 minutes of singing his name and I want 3 points, but when he comes back here then it's a topic of discussion.

Yeah fully agree, makes me laugh when folks try and downplay his connection to our club and what he did for us.

Yeah true but he represents the opposite of literally everything that Rodgers was bad at, which is still fresh in our minds.

Rodgers has strengths that are Pearsons weaknesses, no doubt about that.

But Rodgers couldn't inspire, couldn't build confidence, turned on his players, actively recruited flawed or damaged characters and frequently favoured passive and cowardly football.

Pearson near exclusively hired warriors and battlers, hard workers. His team, to a man, would have walked through walls for him and was nearly always geared up to do so even if they were sometimes lacking a bit of a plan. The were far, far easier to like and so was he.

I guess what we're all hoping and seeing so far is that Enzo might just be the best of both of them combined.

You mean like Rodgers is really good at being small?

I love them both so much.

Great to watch this as well, turns my stomach how some fans turned on him, at that time  was working in Italy load of security at the job  were juventus ultras, and told them about what king had achieved the 3 titles, said he would be absolutely lauded by the ultras  in Italy  no matter what, as its so unique  what he achieved. Instead puel and some of fans treated him so poorly.

A good reminder that he didn’t value players who brought flair or technique over grafters. I remember being frustrated that he kept playing a useless non-scoring Vardy over our blue-ribband signing Beckford!  😂
