Our numbers are fine.

Maybe (hopefully) there's a reciprocal allocation agreement for when we go up there?

Good point.  It hopefully is the case.    And if it is, it could be more important as that's our last away match.

(talking about reciprocal arrangements ... when we played Villa in the League Cup Semi Final a few years back, we only gave them 10% for the 1st leg, and they made sure they only gave us exactly 10% of their place and not one ticket more.    As the 2nd leg is (often) the more significant match, I thought it would've been better to give them the full cup 15% and get 15% for the 2nd leg ourselves.)

Also worth pointing out that for the last 2+ years, we've harmed ourselves by hardly ever putting away tickets on general sale.   Most other clubs have more sense that to do that.

Sunderland got over 5500 allocation anyway. Sure if they’re in the promotion picture still at that point they might be selling more home tickets but it’s not usually a place you struggle to get a big allocation.

Just think its the latest in a line of a weird approach to ticketing and our own fans.

I genuinely don't think they even considered the fact that the minimum number changed when we got relegated.

Liverpool tomorrow with hundreds remaining. No general sale lol

They are absolutely pathetic.

Basically every non LCFC fan I know my age (25) puts us in that tier with Villa, West Ham, Newcastle as the non big 6 big clubs.

Genuinely think sometimes neutrals see us as a bigger club than our own fanbase

True. Even before promotion a lot of neutrals in my experience seemed to place us in the Leeds-Wednesday-Forest category at the time of “sleeping giant who’ve been out of the division too long”.

The scary thing ... is that there's a good chance you are right.

Not sure why anyone would consider Forest a sleeping giant ?

The last three away ends haven't sold out and they haven't put it on general sale.

Get used to it as it ain't changing, club are terrified of not knowing who's there.

The insane thing ... is that if the club just allow those with a previous booking history, they've got your name, address, phone, Email and Date of Birth anyway

(which would satisfy as half-paranoid organisation).

Well the only person its hurting is Top's pockets, soon enough a King Power accountant is going to call it out and tell the club how much revenue has been lost over the years due to the barriers to entry of purchasing match tickets Home & Away. Not to mention, the stalling of the stadium expansion, which is a whole other can of worms.

They get all this from general sale anyway. Its the membership money they want.

Most have followed a bit of a pattern.

An early burst of enthusiasm, swiftly followed by that tedious “duh duh duh football in a library” chant that every fanbase in this division seems to sing.

Then 70+ minutes of mostly nothing, as we take control of the game and keep the ball.

Then a second wind at end of the game, from a losing position, to demonstrate the incredible nature of their passionate support in the face of adversity, etc.

I see Preston got the extra allocation. Why do we keep giving clubs tickets we don’t need to and should want to sell ourselves? Club is mad

To be fair, there are still plenty of tickets in the rest of the stadium. However, the lack of general sale makes it very frustrating. What is the difference between a STH buying a ticket for A.N. Other and A.N. Other buying a ticket themselves in general sale? The same client data is being recorded.

Funny that I was in PBlock and the noise from home and away fans was loud never heard the singing section

have been in sk 3 from day 1 went Sk2 last year was quite now in P block and it’s great best atmosphere in the Kp

Has P block turned into another standing area basically? Or was that just for Cov?

Bristol City surprised me bringing the numbers they did. I can’t remember them bringing that many before? But they were quiet and their “library” chants were very ironic.

Stoke will surely bring a decent following next, but Sunderland will no doubt be the best even in mid week.

They filled it their first season in the championship when they were around top of the league. Spent 90 minutes singing 'we are premier league' before obviously failing to go up I believe.
