Mate of mine was at the Leeds game today, said Ipswich were shite, aggressive coming forward but absolutely crap at defending. Reckons Leeds could have had 6 or 7 comfortably.

We turn up with the right attitude and look to exploit the gaps they leave we should pummel them.

I watched it from the first to the third goal and they really weren't all that.  Same sort of corner goal they got against us (first 'shot' just bounced of his shoulder), one of the worst OGs ever and a soft peno - beyond that a couple of wasted counters  whilst ipswich huffed and puffed and got nowhere.  Leeds were totally in control but more because ipswich were, as you say, shite.

Hirst will get his goal against us. It's the Leicester way!

But think we can punish them on the break like Birmingham. Brace for a Boxing Day goalfest me thinks!

Bit of a free hit really after today's results. Can see us sitting slightly deeper as we will kill them on the counter like Leeds did.

Should be a great game really.

Not sure I'd take a point here, I think we've a much better chance of getting the 3 points in this game, than in the return game during Jan AFCON. Daka/Fatawu should be really effective against these if the Leeds game is anything to go by.

think its fair to say we'll probably go with the same team as the last couple of games

i think JJ will be at LB tho, compared to him at right today

Considering we most likely did that against Rotherham to lock up their tidy and pacey left wing back and Ipswich’s best player is their left wing back - I would hedge my bets we’ll do the same again.

Enzo got Ipswich figured out! If Farke can master a 4-0 plan, Enzo have got the plan lined up! Actually nice for Enzo having someone showing the way!

Opposite for the opponents for us, they cant find the key to play us out of the field. Only point losses is still boring 1-0's and a late equalizer!

Bet McKenna haves trouble sleeping, knowing he has to formulate some kind of tactics against the foxes!

You’d expect them to turn up against Leeds. Don’t underestimate the knock to their confidence yesterday could’ve had. We need to win this, if not just to piss on Ed Sheeran’s Christmas.

It could go one of two ways, really. They might want to reassert themselves in front of their own fans and rebuild or they could look at a game against the league leaders, three days after getting tanked by third place, as about as welcome as a prostate exam from Abu Hamza.

One little tip for those of you going to Ipswich ...

If you are in the Upper Tier, make sure you check which block you are in (V1 or V2) when going up from the concourse into the seats.   And not just the row and seat number.

Unless they've changed it recently, Ipswich are different from most other grounds in that the seat numbers are only unique within the individual block, and not the whole stand.      At most other clubs, even if you misread the block, the seat numbers are unique and you easily work out where you should sit.   Not so at Ipswich ...

I’ve got nothing against him personally, but the prospect of the camera panning to him looking as if he’s about to cry after our fourth goal goes in makes me feel all warm inside. It’s what Christmas is all about.

Merry Christmas mate 😂 Made me belly laugh haha

At least they have numbers on the seats, MK Dons just let you work that bugger out on your own

Very naive performance by Ipswich. Leeds didn’t do much and they scored 4 goals! Ipswich should have played it smart but approached the game like any other and got spanked.

The game against us will be completely different because we’ll try and keep the ball much more than what Leeds want to do. (When Ipswich went 2 down they had something like 57% possession I think).

I have confidence our quality will shine through tho!!

They look to vulnerable to the counter attack.

I expect us to set traps for them to turnover possession and then launch effective quick counter attacks similar to the Birmingham match.

Leeds showed everyone in the league the game plan of how to beat Ipswich if you have pace upfront.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we go into HT losing 1-0, only to bring it back 1-3 in the second half. Seems to be the Enzo way. Assesses the first half carefully, then pulls the oppositions pants down in the second half.

I wouldn't piss on Ed Sheeran if he was on fire!
