Thought that was Lisowski’s best performance of ‘match play’ Snooker since the 2022 World Championship when he beat Robertson then narrowly lost to Higgins.

I'd like to see Lisowski win this, is it true he hasnt even one a ranking event in his career? Crazy if true. 

 

Top half of the draw is wide open. Allen isn't the threat he was 2 seasons ago. Wu Yize is the current young Chinese hope who could go on a run.

I've got no sympathy for him. Plays like he doesn't give a toss most of the time and just throws his cue at everything. That's not a professional snooker player.

Pretty much a 1am finish, but thank god Barry won :wub:

 

Mark Allen has gone from one of my favourite players to one of my least favourite, too much painfully slow Snooker from him recently, would’ve been a travesty if he had won tonight.

I feel exactly the same, I used to love watching allen play, but not anymore.

It's the one snooker tournament I make sure I avoid, I dislike everything about it.

If it's a one off I'd forgive it but I watched about 5 frames earlier in the week and the same guy was shouting 'bor-ing' at every safety shot. Give it a fvckin rest man....

Was a good final, the Scottish lad had an easy enough red that would have been enough but Ford cleared up well considering the pressure. Happy for Ford as he seems like a decent bloke and a nice embrace between the two players at the end.
