Because we flew the man in on the basis it was agreed after negotiating the whole of Jan. Completed his medical, done all the media. 

Only for it not to get done a couple mins before the deadline. The man was literally at the training ground.

At the end of the day.. we're top of the table without sensi.. we don't know if he'd have improved us or not.

 

We have no new players unsettling anyone whose already here competing for game time and settled for the season.

 

Let's just smash the next 17 games, get promoted and play transfers in the summer

Whether he would have made us better is really neither here or there at the moment.

 

Just an absolute embarrassment once again. There is no way that Sensi would have been anywhere near Leicester today unless he was signing. How it has managed to **** up from there is massively unprofessional.

 

if it was a one off, it could be forgiven but there have been far too many **** ups by us under the guidance of Rudkin. 

 

This will have further ramifications in the future too as other clubs will be wary of doing business with us.

The figures involved make it even worse.


The club own several properties in Nottingham worth what Inter wanted, just for some context... lol 

 

Does FFP just have to be players? Could we not have sacrificed the penthouse apartment with views of the City Ground???

We must have had enough confidence in the deal to fly Sensi over and complete the medical, paperwork etc… it’s entirely possible (and plausible) that Inter moved the goalposts at the last minute rather than a failure to negotiate on our behalf.

Yeah I probably would. The coach sold me the objectives. The club will likely be in the Prem. Just gotta stay fit, maybe even sign a pre-contract.

That's a completely different debate that i've no interest in having - you asked only about this deal, and my answer is a perfectly rational and reasonable take on the sensi deal.

Also if we genuinely didn't want to send Souttar to Leeds because we didn't want to strengthen them, that's an absolute joke of a decision too.

Clearly then Rudkin and his team didn't understand this or why bother to bring this player over, agree terms and get him to do a medical which he supposedly passed. They clearly did all that in the expectation of signing him. If it was about selling first then we would have a pretty clear indication by lunchtime today that nothing was going to happen yet continued to proceed as if we could sign him. We'll probably never know the exact truth behind what happened here but it just looks so amateurish.
