Daka is average but not using him to share the workload with Vardy was suicide.

 

He should have played more, even if it was to keep Vardy fresh.

 

Instead we ran Vardy into the ground, and gave Daka little chance to find his form.

It seemed so obvious to do a 60Vardy 30Daka / 60Daka 30Vardy rotation throughout the season… both would have been fresh and offered more running

To be fair his only played 634 min, the equivalent of 7 games.

 

Often coming on to chase a lost cause, not sure he's been handle very well and his lack of use has also destroyed Vardy who been run into the ground.

 

Enzo show how to rotation of Vardy benefit the side and him.

Honestly, how can those in charge not see it! 

 

Give Vardy a fighting chance to be firing on all cylinders for little bursts.

 

Daka would also have a chance to find form, rather then 10 or 20 minutes once we are 2 nil down.

Daka trying to find his form reminds me of the GIF of the raccoon trying to find its candy floss after washing it in a river.

Whilst I agree,

What are Rodger’s, Smith, Enzo(to a lesser extent), Cooper, RVN all seeing that makes that happen for the last 4 years. Even when Vardy was struggling in form in the relegation season?

(1 full 90) 15 starts in 46 games season got more starts due to injury to Vardy 23/24

 

(2 full 90s)11 starts 22/23

(3 full 90s)  13 starts 21/22

 

Meanwhile Vardy

(18 90s this season) 33 starts so far

He played 6 full 90s and 18 starts two seasons ago 22/23

 

 

I wonder what all these managers are seeing in training to choose not to utilise Leicesters 5th highest ever signing for full 90 mins or even to start more games

Yeah, I get it, but you just end up with two useless forwards because you have ran Vardy into the ground.

 

It's sort of irrelevant whether he's any good or not, if playing he meant we could squeeze 10% more quality out of Vardy.

I think the reason that you didn't see them share 60/30's is because chances are at a premium and most managers would still trust a knackered Vardy over a fully fit Daka to be scoring, troubling the keeper or y'know, just making contact with the ball in those situations.

He is not and never will be a decent striker .. he doesn't have the instinct or vision .. move him on and take the hit  ... have a trawl around league 1 and look for some hungry ambitious strikers ... if they come good ... Great... if not no real financial loss
