One potential step in the right direction would be renaming even just one of the stands. For example reinstating the Fosse Stand name which is what the South Stand/Kop was originally known as. To add some balance to this thread though, think it’s worth mentioning some positive aspects. The location is an obvious one including the view from the River Soar, also like the engraved bricks on the outside.

It was never planned with the foresight of the earlier Pierepoint Bede island South stadium, which had bigger concourses and more facilities we are only now considering with the proposed expansion.

 

The sooner the concourses are expanded and they sort out access in and out of the toilets the better. The ridiculous dog leg entrances are a nightmare to get in and out of speedily when they're busy, especially when blocked by a large wheelie bin!

The Kop SK1 toilets are just terrible. I've never not had to queue to get in and out. The club and football has moved on, but we've not spent a penny on facilities for supporters in 20 years.

There's one for Filbert St and they're all over the City mostly where we've demolished something or left it to fall down.

These stadium works will hopefully go some way in improving that sense of pride on matchdays, and also outside of matchdays. This seems like a win for the fans and especially those who have continually lobbied the club about the ground’s lack of character.

That to me looks like you’re standing near the burger vans, scarf seller on the east stand corner with the away entrance to your right.

 

There are usually a few Skoda plod cars parked to the left just in front of that engineering factory.

Yeah now you mention it, that does look right. It’s wherever car park B is anyway haha
