Marky mark Posted 6 August 2024 Posted 6 August 2024 Talk sport expert today saying we’ve got two counts ( regelation ) and last season although we might be ok from last season earliest we’ll get heard is late September

HybridFox Posted 6 August 2024 Posted 6 August 2024 No doubt we'll be docked once we've put some early points on the board
BayAreaFoxes Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 if it is nov-jan, that's honestly a better time than starting negative from a psychological POV. The team can rally after 1

Makes you wonder how many other backhanders have been thrown about I think that there has to be complete transparency between the clubs regarding allowed losses. That also refers to losses re infrastructure and academy/womens teams. no way will you and I get to see that but having things nodded through between a club and the PL is going to cause massive problems re perceived fairness amongst the fan bases. we effectively got relegated because of psr and our attempt to adhere to them. Everton and forest could have been relegated last season because of their sanctions. We are likely struggling to secure the players we need to make a fist of staying up because of an expected points deduction. unless all the clubs can see what all the other clubs are getting through the system, none of those clubs who haven’t benefited can be comfortable with the system. Because we don’t see the other 14 clubs voting for better transparency I can only assume that a number of the other 14 have also been the beneficiaries of fairly shady deals with the PL. Number 6 Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 It sort of makes sense the clubs with typically the biggest turnovers would be most impacted by COVID to be fair. 1
Chrysalis Posted 9 August 2024 Posted 9 August 2024 It works in our favour for the deduction to come late, the mental impact of starting on negative points, playing catch up from the get go, plus a late punishment, they may not want a deduction to trigger a relegation so deliberately set it short and so on. 1
