Unlikely to get that. The Belgium winner has got VAR off the hook, slightly.

Well in theory but VAR seems to make the most simple decisions complicated!!

Sampdoria won the first leg of their relegation play-off 2-0. This is to the background of Brescia sadly going pop. While Salterniana, the opponents of Sampdoria, are desperately trying to get a replay/rearrangement of the play-out because apparently their squad is suffering from good poisoning.

I actually found it quite upsetting at the end due to Vialli and his passing.

Game moved by two days to Sunday now!! Still playing the season on 22nd June!!

I was only half paying attention but I think Joe Cole and/or Jermain Defoe made that comparison in the studio beforehand. Wout and Coads will pocket him no problem of course

Comment was after taking McAtee and Elliot off for more defensive minded players. To be fair it worked well, good game management in the end.
