But because it's Leicester we should know our place, fans wanting Cooper out aren't expecting top 6 nor top 10, we just want a team who can perform and he's obvious from performances tactics etc Cooper isn't the man upto the job exactly. like if we're talking about historical levels what is the point of even playing a full season? might as well just determine the league standings based on how many Greggs there are within a 15 minute walk of the ground, it's about as meaningful as fanbase size. 3

Give me a team who look cohesive, a shape that isn’t set up to see us fail, a set up that plays to the strengths we do have and we could compete and finish top of the bottom 6. What we are currently watching is a shambles 4

Popular Post Finnaldo Posted 23 November 2024 Popular Post Posted 23 November 2024 ‘Football is cyclical’ is the biggest cop-out for accepting poor; near-negligent running of the club by a crumbling regime out of ideas and completely unable to reform or reorganise itself on any serious level. Even if you accept whatever pseudoscience is to determine the size of football supporter base, the fact we’re comfortably in the top 25 suggests we can then easily maintain Premier League football. The fact we’re eight/nine years removed from a Premier League title and three years removed from a series of European football runs shows it’s not a cyclical decline but a terminal spiral by utterly incompetent upper management. This all started with “Of course we won’t go down under Brendan!” because it was decided that the ownership and ‘their manager’ could do no wrong despite failing top four objectives twice by way of two unbelievable collapses. Since then we’ve seen often the same crowd erode expectations to “Going back to 2005/06 Leicester is just life”. Simply accepting and even defending worsening outcomes creates even worse results. This is an observable pattern at this club over the last five seasons but some will never bring themselves to accept how poorly ran we are from the very top. 9
coolhandfox Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 We have a manager out of his depth combined with a poor transfer strategy and squad management. 1

southfox66 Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 Given the position we were facing at the start of season ie possible points deduction, Cooper was probably the only option the club had, the club no longer has that attractive status. I don't really know who people expect us to get as a replacement if we were to sack him, the days of getting someone like Potter are gone.

Dames Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 They won’t sack the manager because it will raise too many questions of incompetent strategy. Easier to let Cooper take the flak.
SafewayFox Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 The stat that came up a minute ago is WHY there can’t be a defence for Cooper. We’ve conceded first 10 out of 12 PL games and considerably the highest in the league. 1
surrifox Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 Sleep walking to relegation , a 20 deduction and oblivion 1
Eskay Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 Good ol pragmatic Steve. Offering absolutely nothing.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 Another game full of excitement and attacking football. Hilarious

Muzzy_no7 Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 Yeah, he’s gone after this game. State of it.

foxer Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 How many goals do we reckon Chelsea need to score today for the board to think "hang on, is Steve Cooper not actually a good manager, does he need sacking?" I reckon 12.
