Megson was a **** for walking out so

early but he was okay with us. We didn’t concede many if I recall. We wouldn’t have gone down if he’d had stayed.

Did he beat Forest in the league cup with us or was that someone else?

the most painful aspect of all of this, is the fact we can be better, and we know we can be better. We should have won that game today, man for man we are better than Ipswich and I think that’s why I’m struggling so much to get on board with Cooper. He’s comes across as a really nice bloke and I think he has the players on side on a personal level, but there’s no doubting that tactically he’s out of his depth, and he can’t get to grips with this squad. There’s just no evidence of a real plan……

I thought Allen was gone by the time we did the replay? I could be wrong.

We were last season as well but still didn’t beat them

nah, Allen was in charge when Clarke had the heart attack and was sacked like a day or two after, Megson was in charge come the replay

Another week wasted. Nothing is building in any way. It’s just a lottery. Others will improve  and we will not under cooper,  Seriously needs to go. Survival is there for the taking. Disgraceful

Wonder if Rudkin and Top discuss the team's performances weekly or are content with just survival this season.

I’m lucky enough to be on a weekly teams call with top and John and not once have they discussed our games. I tried to put it under AOB but they weren’t bothered.

What was the agenda this week?

It got curtailed early as top was struggling for signal and John didn’t join.

We didn't beat them twice last season with a better manager, it isn't just the tactics that undone us in the last two games, we actually have a little of what Ipswich had last season in the championship, which is scoring late goals. We have rescued 3 points in the last 3 games in injury time, while I don't rate Cooper that highly Maresca or Rogers weren't able to leave me feeling like we had a chance of rescuing something in injury time, whereas this season and today, I wasn't surprised when we equalised, I expected it. If I did so did the players, that ability to fight til the end is something we haven't had for about 3 years before this season.

We was good and doing well for first 15-20 mins today but after that it was all ipswich. How can you go so far into the season and only playing well at most a quarter of each game. I personally can't see us getting more than 5-6 point from now until end of December. Hopefully top and everyone else will have someone lined up by then

Thank you for clearing that up, I thought that was it. Cause we let their keeper through to score didn't we?

Is it bad that I do kind of like how unprofessional and fan-like his post match interviews are?

Some of the stuff he comes out with is like sticking a mic in front of some of you lot 9 points deep at the local hero.

Was Top at the game?

....Think I saw Bantz in the crowd....

Side note,  I would take trump winning if it meant this man got sacked lol.

Don’t think so, this is surely the desired reaction to Maresca, not that he did poor  interviews, it is more that he was generally very constrained/structured with regards to all aspects of the game.

Constantly talking up performances. We were poor for large parts today and he thinks we created the main chances?!

Cleared off the line next best chance?

We were good when they had 10 men and used the advantage well but 11 v 11, it was nothing like cooper was saying.
