It looks like he's not injured. Ange had enough with him, no wonder he's been subbed off in 11 consecutive games now. He's a decent player but too complacent, he doesn't follow any manager's tactical directions. This will be his last season at Spurs if Ange stays.

Yeah not injured it was a tactical substitution apparently, strange but seems to have worked out as 5 chances created and an assist in the first 45 for Maddison

Has Mccoist been drinking early today? Talking some absolute shite.

Sitting next to "Fletch" does that to people.

Need Man City and Notts Forest to win. We need to widen that gap because I don't trust this team and manager. We could easily go on a winless run and be caught up.

Who is winning the sack race, then?

Plenty of pressure on Martin, Lopetegui and O'Neill.

I don't think McKenna is under as much pressure, despite results.

Ten Hag is maybe one awful defeat away from doom.

And for those in here that want Cooper gone, now we've won a couple, he's probably bought himself a bit of time.

Fascinating stuff.

This must be a red card for Saliba if it's not offside.

I think the yellow was sufficient, he’s a long way from goal

I reckon he easily gets to the ball before the keeper and white

and then he has a shot on goal available to him

so it’s a red, even though the offence is in the centre circle

Of course he is but he’s still got 40 yards to go with the ball before he’s even thinking about a shot at goal

Can see Saints getting Kjetil Knutsen.

Dont think they could appeal to my usual list TBH.

Then again Palace did get Glasner.

Supposedly Corberan as good as done with Oxford manager ready to go WBA.

He’s got thirty yards before he reaches the box

he would get to the ball around thirty yards out

I can see what you’re saying but he doesn’t have the ball at his feet so he’s able to sprint onto it

given that the ref didn’t send him off you could definitely argue it wasn’t a clear DOGSO and therefore shoutdnt be a VAR overturn.

It's a red card. Do you think you can get away from the last player rule because you set up your D line in midfield?

No, but with a defender chasing back and the striker having quite a bit of distance to cover I thought the yellow was sufficient, it’s not a clear DOGSO in my opinion and the referee has a clear view of what has happened

He's not listening to manager's instructions. Ange is fed up with him. Madders is just enjoying the game but this is not enough at this level unfortunately.

It will never be a clear goal opportunity when this high line is implemented them. The rule doesn't take into account the yardage or how far the striker is from the box. Ofc both defenders have more time and space to catch up with the striker but the rule doesn't work out like this.

He was absolutely spaffing for Kudus to be sent off in the early kick off, would not have it was a yellow at first. So weird to listen to
