while having intolerant views about people’s religion

What is intolerant about pointing out that homophobia and misogyny don't belong in our time?

Because it can be done without making generalisations about religion and the religious, or about people from certain regions of the globe. Britain is a country that provides us with plenty of evidence that non-religious North-West Europeans can be extremely racist, homophobic, etc.

You want him to wear an armband promoting diversity, because diversity is good, unless it is religious diversity?  Not sure I understand your point.  An awful lot of religious people pick and choose which part of their religious teaching they follow.  Suck it up.

This is nothing to do with religion. Just bigotry.

some wolves fans on X warning West Ham ones that hes like that, blowing smoke up the arse of some managers

I know this won't be a popular opinion but you probably need to give Balague some tolerance. You need to remember he's genuinely actually friends with Lopetegui and Maresca. He doesn't give a shit about the clubs they're at, he's just writing articles about his mates that are obviously very biased towards them. That doesn't mean you have to like them but you can see why he does it.

I do think it makes him out of touch with what football fans are truly like and football fans ultimately pay his wages but by and large most people will read his articles as a neutral and won't care if his takes wind up Leicester, Wolves or West Ham fans.

Personally doesn't wind me up. He's got his bias, I've got mine. Not gonna call the man a **** for wanting to hype his pals.

Everton - Wolves - what are we hoping for? A draw?

Looking at the upcoming fixtures (Wolves play West Ham at the weekend, then Ipswich, then us) I think if one team has to win it might be preferable for Everton to nick it. As spawny as they can be under Dyche, their next four after this are Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea. They ain't getting much out of those. I'd rather we get to the Wolves game with our noses still in front of them if possible.

Everton win then pretty simple.

It was a bit of a loaded question really - i think one look at the fixtures and most people's heads will say Everton if it can't be a draw, but noticed there are a few that would prefer Wolves for some reason

I honestly hope Forest's season falls apart like a w@nker's hankie from there. A bit of good form early in the season has made them even more arrogant than usual.
