Most of these United players would be lucky to get a new club

True. Evans and Maguire should retire, Zirkzee might find a newly promoted team in League Two, Hojlund can go to Netherlands harvesting tomatoes, Casemiro can create a Walking Men Club, Onana can open a new GKs academy with Ward and Fernandes star in a new Ratatouille sequel.

Need more than 5 wins. Without any draws on top, 29 points will never keep us up. Blackpool had 28 points at Christmas when they got relegated.

That's why I didn't say it would keep us up but give us a fighting chance. You always pick up the odd draw, or scrape something. I remember that awful QPR squad scraping draws and wins at Spurs and Chelsea. But having about 8-10 wins to your name, plus a few draws, seems to be what you need these days.

At the very least, it's respectable. Considering I thought we'd be dead certs for the drop and constantly in bottom 3, to only fall into it at Christmas is already above expectations.

This weekend doesn’t seal it. We’ve still got to play all of the teams around us and a win against Villa could lift us out…..

Plenty left to go.

Without a doubt. But can you see us getting 21 or so points from the last 19 games? I can’t.

7 wins from 19 games is a lot for a team in the bottom 3.

To get to 35 points we need more positive results (11) then negative results (9). I can’t see it but you’ve got to hope until we are 9 points a drift.

These last two weeks have relegated us, I'm afraid.

Poor performance against Wolves, injury to Hermansen, Wolves and Ipswich having extraordinary good luck in different ways have been the killers.

It's all about form and how much the players want it.

Remember when Pearson went charging up the Table to finish in the top 6 in the championship.

Aye, not happening.

We need 3 signings in Jan, and at least 2 to be good or 1 to be amazing and transform us.

No doubt we’ll sign no-one for the first 2-3 weeks and that’ll be another couple of games wasted.

Think it's still far too early but it is bleak for sure. Ultimately it'll be nobody's fault other than our own and by " our own" I mean Top and Rudkin

Remember the great escape? 7 wins from 9 games I believe. Mind you, that was the real Leicester City under Sir Nige of Pearson.

I think we’ve had a decent amount of luck in the first half of the season, probably not as much as a couple of other teams but enough.

Think there's been a few contentious penalty calls and red cards collectively that could have worked in our favour.

The biggest one that I can remember that went in our favour was that Ayew shirt pull against Southampton.

Who have been better than us? Ipswich? The team that have been below us until this point?

Ipswich are better than us in that they've given teams proper games, even in defeat.

We've been totally hopeless in most of our defeats and outplayed in most , if not all, of our victories.

We’ve got a January window to get through. There’s a series of games coming up that we stand a better chance of getting results from… like I said, the last few weeks may seem a disaster, but we need to take advantage of our “easier” run of games.
