They'll struggle to hold on to the likes of Murillo, Milenkovic and MGW.

They probably have to sell one of these this summer to try and push on with PSR.

Elanga cost about £20m so not like he was released

Wasn't Gibbs-White about £40m as well?

Very different and nothing like us picking up players like Drinkwater, Albrighton, Simpson, Vardy etc. for next to nothing with much more of a point to prove

not forget the X amount for sangare, Selz, etc

so to compare a team thats currently 3rd 16 points behind Liverpool to a team that won the league by 10 points is a mystery

They're no rags to riches story, don't care what anybody says

Forest have probably spent the most outside the “big six”?

😂😂😂. It’s a Leicester forum.

Even neutrals would struggle to like this Forest side with the style of play, luck and blatant disregard for rules.

We played a similar style our Premier League win....the sitting deep and breaking for a counterattack

Are we? They've stayed up by blind luck alone for two seasons and had one good transfer window, with freakish luck to boot.

Yeh we are we’re going down and there going to Europe. 10 of there players get in our starting line up. It’s a great squad and they do all the simple things very well.

Yeah they have and the Anderson and Greek goalkeeper transfers to and from Newcastle need serious attention.

Four years ago, we were in Europe and they had a pitch invasion for finishing 21st in the Championship.

On the bright side this should be as good as it gets for Forest in this era, yes they’ll have the excitement of CL football and may get into the early knockout stages but they’ll suffer in the league and their fans will demand to see more expansive football.

Not saying they’ll fall off a cliff like we have but their deluded fans still think Liverpool see them as a main rival.

True that.

Not a prayer they cope with those demands, and Wolves fans will tell you that NES tends to be a bit of a one-season wonder.

There are some sour grapes on here.

Forest have not spent the fees mentioned, Elanga was £15m, Sels just £5m and initial for Gibbs-White was the same we paid for Skipp. And I could cry thinking how they got Hudson-Odoi for £3m.

They are a very good side doing well, that’s football. And it goes in circles. We’ve had recent success we could only dream of, it now looks like our time to be shit.

We scored loads more goals and more goal difference.

Take that Brighton 7-0 out of the equation and Forest would’ve scored similar amounts to Fulham and Wolves.

lets not forget the fact they spend over FFP/PSR to stay up too

and theyll be sailing close to that wind again in the summer

dont get me wrong forest are doing incredibly well,

BUT they are nothing like the 15/16 Leicester team in anyway; will they be able to do the same next season? I doubt it, will big clubs sniff around for some of their players in the next year? 100%

lol and it does.

You almost have to see the funny side at this point. I've never known anything like it.
