Whether or not they win this I think a few need to appreciate that Forest are a little more than "well-drilled"

There defence is like ours in the title winning season solid, don't have as much quality as we did though through the midfields/forwards.

They pretty much epitomise 'well-drilled.' I don't think many if any of their individual players get into any of the teams around them, with the possible exception of Murillo and Milenkovic.

They won't get UCL, but UEL is bad enough.

Hope you're right but a bit of a gap forming if they win and I don't see anybody particularly consistent below 4th.

Why not? Who’s gonna stop them? Maybe Newcastle?

Newcastle or Villa. All it'll take is a wobble from Forest and they won't have the quality to get out of a sticky spot.

Milenkovic and Murillo costing less combined than Faes and Vestergaard really is fantastic

I just think it does them a disservice (and I think there's a lot to be said for being well-drilled). They've got quality as well.

In form wingers and a very good defence. They're completely midtable otherwise.

You would expect Liverpool, Chelsea & Arsenal to be top 3 at this point. 4th & 5th (which is likely to be enough for CL) are both up for grabs. Forest are in the mix unfortunately

Yup there two full backs are impressive as well, especially when you watch our lot, they have a good mix in there.

We need to invest heavily in the defence if we want to stay up.

In the mix, yes. But too much quality with too much experience chasing them. We all know that Villa and Newcastle have that dog in them, and it'd be foolish to write off Manchester City even out of form. We've all seen them looking lost at sea and then putting a run together. Quietly, even Bournemouth are having a strikingly good season and were only three points behind them at the start of play.

lol Joelinton slightly touches the shoulder of Rodgers who goes down holding his face and rolling about.

Should be a retrospective ban for that.

Nuno is a great manager. It's a shame he ran out of steam with us as Covid destroyed him and his morale due to not being able to see his family.

I enjoy seeing him doing well again as he's a top bloke. Just a shame it's with Forest.

Difficult to tell. But they looked dire up until this season, even under NES after he took over from Cooper. They're well-drilled, on form and benefiting from the collapse of Man City, Man United and Spurs. They wouldn't be in the conversation otherwise.

imagine if that happened to a Newcastle player:whistle:

I absolutely hate watching Forest. They're so painfully efficient, all their players know what their jobs are and none of them do anything stupid. It makes me feel sick.

That's the difference for me. We were superbly well-drilled, but had three genuinely world class players in Kanté, Mahrez and Vardy. Arguably Schmeichel as well.

All arguments we had (often unfairly) levelled at us; borderline verbatim. I don't think they'll finish top 4 but if they squeeze into Europe it's time to concede they're decent.

What did he do?

Duran trod on Schar's arse twice in the same challenge.

It wasn't much, but it looked deliberate, and in the modern climate, it puts you in danger of being sent off.

So he was.

Intentionally went studs in onto the back of Fabian Schar and pretended like he didn't do anything and was oblivious to the fact VAR is very much present in the modern game.
