All arguments we had (often unfairly) levelled at us; borderline verbatim. I don't think they'll finish top 4 but if they squeeze into Europe it's time to concede they're decent.

UEL would be a superb achievement for them, but I find it difficult to believe that they're any better than Brighton and West Ham when they got into Europe. They're absolutely nowhere near us under Ranieri or even under Rodgers when we got back-to-back top five finishes. Pre-Covid Leicester would have breezed into this year's UCL spots without breaking into a sweat.

That's the difference for me. We were superbly well-drilled, but had three genuinely world class players in Kanté, Mahrez and Vardy. Arguably Schmeichel as well.

Yea Wood is more comparable to Ulloa, and they don't have a Mahrez or Vardy likewise a engine like Kante in the middle.

Duran trod on Schar's arse twice in the same challenge.

It wasn't much, but it looked deliberate, and in the modern climate, it puts you in danger of being sent off.

So he was.

No problem for them. They can bring in Duran at the HT.

Them being where they are is more testament to it being a poor league than them actually being as good as folk are saying. I suspect they'll finish 6th or 7th, realistically. At least two of those sides below them on stuttering form will go on a run and overtake them. They'll have a wobble for sure.

Are we really arguing about the merits us 2016 or even us circa 2019-21 compared to this Forest team? They are a decent side at the minute to be fair but the comparisons aren't even a debate or conversation.

It didn't make a real difference because we had a clown in nets but didn't Cunha admit his charge? Why is he still playing today and probably Sunday?

Oh I don't think they're close to us under Ranieri, for clarity – but the comments about West Ham and Brighton definitely have a whiff of the outsider-looking-in comments we got when we were half tidy.

I think the last sentence is wrong regarding Rodgers' sides breezing in – I do think they'd have managed it, but the character of that side was flappy at best – lets not forget they also had "big" clubs in disarray (an OGS managed Man United and a Lampard managed Chelsea ffs) but I reckon we're going to have to agree to disagree!

I don't think Forest are Pep's Barca but I do think they deserve a little more credit than being functional.

Ultimately, we all know that Man City will snap out of it at some stage and go on a run of about 10 straight wins and it'll all become moot anyway.

Because the FA are probably still on their Christmas piss up. Or we've appealed and they have to wait to hear any new evidence. Dunno.

In fairness, Forest falling apart post March in a Rodgers style would be arguably the funniest thing that's happened in football for years.

Starting next Sunday, at a rough guess

Forest fans signing Leicester Reject to Maddison.

They don't care though

If you speak to any Forest fans, I've suffered such a fate, you will learn that they are utterly obsessed with us.

They are doing well I don't think its because its a poor league they are well balanced and have a decent manager but yea more than likely finish 6th, 7th or 8th.

Eighth on the final day so they don't even get to play a WiFi password in the UECL qualifiers. Magic.

Are they in any FFP risk for this season? Can’t see their situation being much better?
