Arteta is delusional. "Arsenal were the much better side" "Arsenal were the best team in the champions league"

Big words from a man who hasn't won a trophy in 5 years and the one he has to his name came from Emery's team. I do wonder if he'd have survived so long at any other big club

Proper weirdo behaviour that. Just calm down, mate. Be gracious. You lost to possibly the winners of the comp but still bloodied their nose and Liverpool surprised everyone.

Just say - "great team but we know there is a gap up top. Hi Ollie Watkins"

If I was an Arsenal fan I'd be concerned by those comments, it essentially says we don't need to improve which means they won't be good enough to win anything.

With Harry Kane going from a boy to a man, is Saka now the biggest bottlejob in England

I thought Saka was one of their better players. Missed a sitter obviously but he was trying to create more than the rest of the team put together.

Arteta doesn’t help them. Wildly delusional comments pre and post match. Stupid touchline antics. Obvs it worked with Liverpool/klopp but you’ve seen what a calm approach in Slot does for a team.
I think he’s taken them as far as he can. They of course can’t get rid of him and he won’t walk

Quite like Saka.. In his defence Arsenal's plan for these knockout games seemed to be to give it to him in the hope he produces..

I thought Odegaard was particularly poor over the two legs considering his class..

I’m delighted arsenal are out, their fanbase are the most delusional. They start celebrating winning trophies before they’ve won it. Remember 2015/16 when they beat us 2-1 and celebrated in the dressing room. Pathetic bottlers.

I never really understood why this upset so many. That was a massive game for them and they had every right to celebrate that result.

I think it's because Leicester fans, like any other breed of football fans, have a lack of rationality and a surfeit of tribal pride when it comes to perceived slights against their club.

Arteta is a salty sea dog who doesn't have any class when losing

he needs to man up and just admit the better side won

Exactly!!! Celebrating winning the PL on 14th February!!

It didn’t upset me it made me laugh. We went unbeaten for the rest of the season.

Yep, and in Feb last year when they beat Liverpool and Feb this year when they beat man city. Wildly celebrating when you've won a home game on matchday 25 or something. Madness

If you weren't upset at that game there's no point following an emotional and ultimately pointless sport such as football. Everyone needs an irrational outlet.

I was annoyed with the result and the fact we were down to 10 men as a result of two extremely soft yellow cards.

Them taking a picture in their dressing room didn't annoy me and I don't see why anyone would get annoyed with that.

In a nutshell why even beating Real Madrid didn't quite fool me. They have previous for doing this. Do something impressive, declare themselves winners, go on to not win it.

Arsenal now have a secret weapon. It’s the Pulis inspired long throw!!

And Arteta had the cheek to complain about the PSG keeper wasting time 😂

They were of course the best team in the tournament 😳

The whole "stay humble" business. Proceed to prove Haaland correct.

By taking a team photo in the dressing room?

In February?

Yes, what's wrong with that?

Well it was a bit OTT and premature no?

Premature to celebrate a win?

I don't really know what is over the top about an off-the-cuff photo either.

Saka is still only 23. Kane is 31. Get a grip.

I know it’s genuinely impressive how many bottles are on the CV at such a young age, he’s got the potential to blow Kane out of the water
