Popular Post OwnGoal Posted 30 September 2024 Popular Post Posted 30 September 2024 These used to turn us over when we was good. Couldn’t even beat them the season we won the league. So I’m saying we probably go and smash them now we are dogshit. 1 4

cruzFOX Posted 30 September 2024 Posted 30 September 2024 I knew this season was going to be tough even without the points deduction our only chance was to WIN the winnable games and nick a few suprise draws against the big boys like Arsenal. We almost did too at the weekend but instead came away with zero. There is not much buffer now as we hover just above the dreaded relegation zone. We now have no choice but to go for all 3 points in every game or we will be cut adrift by Xmas. If it’s not cooper to lead us than hope the board has his replacement ready.
kingpowerout Posted 30 September 2024 Posted 30 September 2024 I remember us having some of our best attacking performances in recent years when both Vardy and Iheanacho were on the pitch together. Would love to think that Vardy & Eduoard could play together and have a similar output. Sadly, that would be way too maverick for SC and therefore never happen.
The boy Linacre Posted 30 September 2024 Posted 30 September 2024 MUST WIN game. We're not staying up drawing and losing games only. We need at least 7pts if not 9pts from the next 4 games, time to start the car. Time to get ahead of the dross, not be always battling to catch up. MUST WIN NOTHING else to add. 1

There is no excuse for cowardly, handbrake football at home in a game like this. This should be approached positively, setting our stall out to win from minute 1. No "keeping in the game" or "keeping things tight". No passive timewasting bullshit where we take no interest in doing anything with the ball for 60 minutes. I want a positive lineup, and to see us going for it properly like a team that intends to win a game of football. If Cooper wants to keep his job, the opportunity is right there. These are his 4 winnable fixtures ahead of him now, we need 5 wins and a draw more before Christmas to have a shout at staying up. There's no time to piss about hoping to win later on. Get a win on the boards now, or get out of the club and stop wasting everybody's time. Totally agree with you BUT we won 2 games before Christmas in 2014 and they were in Sept. And stayed up easily. And only 4 by the beg of April, ONLY 1 great escape though. 2
Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 September 2024 Posted 30 September 2024 If we lose this surely there's no excuse for Cooper? 2

Do it you pussy Wouldn’t it be great, teams still seem to defend in a 4-4-2 so why can’t we attack with it ? I guess Shinji’s workrate in the title season made us more a 4-4-1-1 but still an attacking formation. With his work rate ( forgive me) couldn’t Ayew sit behind Vards ala Shinji to cut off play maker midfielder?

Just create havoc in their half and lay off simple balls to players in space. 1

Vowels Posted 30 September 2024 Posted 30 September 2024 The Bournemouth fan in the local has no opinion on football other than that the Brighton fan in the pub is boring. Same in vice versa. The Brighton fan at least relentlessly abuses the palace fan who is a *****. What I’m getting at in a roundabout way is that Bournemouth and everything about them is boring and they won’t even beat us in an exciting way. Just an efficient 2 nilling. Military missionary. Never in doubt but not much fun. I wonder whatever became of Tony Dorigo ?
Bristol fox .... Posted 30 September 2024 Posted 30 September 2024 Anyone else not had there digital season ticket pass added to there wallet for Bournemouth game !! 1

5waller5 Posted 30 September 2024 Posted 30 September 2024 (edited) I’m going to post this every match thread - Until my pet hate is no more…. When starting the match thread why can’t we always have the same format: Team name (H/A), 30.12.24, 15:00 (possibly competition too -EPL / FAC etc) It will help with searching in future years, and save looking up the fixture list now, adding value to FoxesTalk Edited 30 September 2024 by 5waller5 2

Happy Fox Posted 30 September 2024 Posted 30 September 2024 Bournemouth will beat us quite comfortably imo, and hopefully that will be the end of this nightmare with Cooper in charge.
