Another six hour round trip coming up and I really cba. Only going because it’s ’quality time’ with my lad.

Not expecting much, it’ll probably be a draw I guess.

I appreciate it’s early in the season but this is a huge game imo.

If there is a poor performance following a negative selection/subs, it will be a very interesting international break.

After a spirited 2nd half performance last week now is the time to show some intent and go out trying to win the game rather than not lose it.

A bad one here and I think it’s the beginning of the end.

Watched the game Monday and consider them very workman in the defensive and middle thirds and then come to life in the attacking third. We will get opportunities if we pick enough attacking players and get the ball to them - cmon Coops play Mavididi, Buenanotte and Fatawu behind Vardy and have a go!

Has it really come to this? We are 6 games into a season, where we knew 17th place was the aim and we’ve got supporters hoping we lose games, why? So they can be proved right?
How about support the team? Hope we turn it around? We know football is a funny game and confidence is a huge part of it, one win can quickly lead to a run of positive results.

I could never fathom going into important games, or any game for that matter hoping we get royally stuffed.
The negativity surrounding the club at the minute is off the charts, and I’m sure is leading to more of our problems.

We need three points, we need all aspects of the club to be pulling in the same direction. We know this will be a tough season, just back the lads!

How dare you have an opinion that doesn't include calling for a sacking!!

This hoping we lose nonsense 'cos then this, that or the other will happen is high fantasy.

We lose and the only certain or even likely thing to happen is we gain zero points -

And make lots of fans even more unhappy

The fact is people's capacity for patience is at an all time low, and if we did finish 17th those same reactionary people would be insisting it was despite the manager and with another (fantasy) manager in charge we'd have been in Europe!

I think that's echoed by the vast majority on here mate (myself included) but it will never happen with Coopers fascination of having 1 winger dropping inside, and Ndidi being on the pitch in the x3 DM's he insists on starting with...

All of which has worked so, so well as our points tally and league position currently .... oh, wait.

My lad wants to go and I’m under instruction from the wife to ‘bond’ with him by going to the football.

I’d rather be golfing but such is life.

Teach the lad to play golf😉

Same here but from Lichfield whilst cooper is still at the helm like I’ve said before he’s like a Dementor from Harry Potter sucking the life out of both club and fans, but I’ll be there again cheering on the lads with my son hoping that things can get better !🤷‍♂️

How many of us are going today a) fervently hoping for (rather than expecting) a win but b) secretly thinking that a defeat today and a place in the relegation zone might not be a bad thing in the long run if it means our mind-bogglingly clueless manager getting the boot during the international break?

Obviously the second option requires Top et al to grow some balls and do the right thing - and of course you never want to see your team lose, especially at home.

But…
