Yeah I am looking forward to doing it for once! One of my favourite games for a long time, because of the stark contrast. I can see it coming on Monday as a result.

In the meantime, we did out Instant Match thoughts here:

Warning, at the start my mic is too loud mainly because I had just been screaming my head off after Jordan Ayew got the winner!

Will watch this tomorrow.

after the 2nd half yesterday I think a 3-4-1-2 shape has legs.

back 3 from JJ, Faes, okoli, vestergaard and coady

fatawu/ricardo on the right, Kristensen/Mavididi on the left

Two from winks, Ndidi, skipp and Soumare in the middle

buananotte or bilal behind front 2.

BDCR and Choudhury have versatility to fill in a few positions. Worth a go imo.

Against these I would start:

Mads

Faes

Okoli

Justin

Fatawu

Winks

Ndidi

Kristensen

Buananotte

Vardy

Ayew

Be absolutely buzzing if we avoid defeat…. Forest such a good team, also very good away. Take a draw now all day

Cheers Steve

I'm joking mate. A draw would be fine, would need something against Ipswich though

4 points from next 2, that would really put the pressure on wolves and palace.

can’t help but think now it’s 3 from wolves, Ipswich, Southampton & Leicester for relegation

I don’t like being in the same division as them because it gives them a chance to beat us.

Try to be balanced in this statement as it also gives us a chance of beating them - how good will that feel?

Imagine going into next Saturday having beat Forest and watching our relegation rivals dropping more points. I can almost taste it

I hate this game. I can’t stand forest; their delusions of grandeur, the harking back to some bygone era, the fact they were slightly less shit than relegated teams in the last few years so fluked their way to survival.

I don’t like being in the same division as them because it gives them a chance to beat us. If I had my way they’d be rotting as far down the leagues as possible.

In most of my life I have to be reasonable and balanced - I am the most partisan and blinkered when it comes to this lot. Not that it shows 🤣

Almost thought I was reading myself there...

Another reason I can't stand them, I grew up in north Leicestershire when Forest lucked upon Cloughie and Taylor. All the glory hunter fans they had then. I quite like the city though. If only there was some way for the Trees to fold and for the established team Notts County to be the team for Nottingham folk to follow.

It's one forest even an eco worrier doesn't give a fvck about. Chop the cvnts down and burn 🔥 em.

Feel Like he’s got three big selection calls to make: JJ v Riccy, Skipp v Winks and Fatawu vs Bilal/Ayew. Be interesting to see how he plays it. Think we’d all prefer the more attacking team but equally wouldn’t be surprised if he goes Ndidi as the 10 again.

Fair point. But given the option I’d rather never play them and know we haven’t lost than the beat them vs lose to them chance!!

Feel for you. I grew up in south Leics so wasn’t exposed to what you were. Later in life I’ve come across a number of folks growing up in a north Leics postcode yet gleefully supporting forest. Worst glory supporters ever!

Agree on the city. I like Trent bridge and where it sits near the river and city ground. Just a shame what the stadium is filled with!
