The pre-match music is one of the few things we do well. Yes, it's Kasabian heavy but at least not generic.

I'm 50 this year, and whilst I appreciate Elton john, I also like Kasabian and appreciate they're a leicester city supporting band, you have to have something the youngsters will dig as well as middle aged blokes like me, I'd be horrified if they started playing Elton john

We've all got different music tastes so never going to get a concensus. Personally, the Kasabian build up is one of the things we do get right

That'll be his basketball commentary background.

 

To be fair to him he's not doing a bad job. We have an aging fan base and you can't please everyone.

 

As has been said the Kasabian stuff generally goes down well with their Leicester links.

 

I used to enjoy a bit of Easy/Hard Life. I've not heard them at the KP in a while, mind you, I usually arrive just before kick off.

Does anyone remember that recorded announcement before every game in league one, where a child voice would say summit like "please refrain from using any foul or bad language in any part of the stadium, especially in the family stand" and then it would finish off with "come on you foxes" Soon as that announcement would finish someone shout "eff off"

Not quite sure what getting older has to do with this?      But you generally can't please everyone, that is true.
