Don’t think mcateer is that good to be starting in a prem team at the minute. Dropping mavadidi when fatawu isn’t available is a bit daft. Skipp must be wondering why he came at least at spurs they won the occasional game he would probably get more game time there at the minute

Our only productive winger is Fatawu. Cooper won't play two wingers, so with Bounanotte out he'll need one of them to drift inside so El Khannous will take that role. McAteer will offer better defensive support at least, but I agree he's not good enough in attack.

Agree with nearly all of this but I kind of get the decision to bring in Okoli for Vesty. Vesty was rinsed for pace by Jackson in the Cup game last season.

I think those players set up for a narrow 4321 with Kasey and Bilal behind Vardy tbh. They've got Badiashile at RB so their right can be got at, maybe later.

Skipp should be starting ahead of Soumare much more energy and ability to get the ball back and get stuck in.

 

Starting Mcateer when he could have gone with a back 3 even with Coady in there.

Looks like Ndidi and Vardy to try and break up Chelsea's play in the 3-2 pivot - which is excellent really.

We're short on fit wide players so this is the best we could hope for really.

Okoli who has been poor passing out from the back of late, Vardy who stands and points and Ndidi who jogs around watching people float by and then in the counter attack has a brain freeze. 

Winks will be frustrated with the playing out if the back of it bypasses him, which has been the case when Okoli was in.  Soumare get in his way and offer no defence until he tackles from behind in the box.
