BDR came in for the last 10 mins and won a pen, still only getting a 5? i didn’t see the game, is that accurate? or are people just not liking him

That’s 100% people deciding they don’t like him and purely voting on the liveability of players.

He did nothing wrong, and won a penalty. That’s surely a solid 6.

that penalty was the only touch he had of any quality and it was mostly the idiocy of Lavia. other than that he ambled around and broke down our own territory as he always does

Genuinely all he did- 5 is average, surely? 6 slightly above, 4 slightly below?

I thought Soumare was solid, BEL had flashes and Mads was Mads, the rest, trash

Agreed, Soumare probably my MOTM especially as BEK faded quite badly after a promising first half. Thought the full backs were ok as well.

Another strong Hermansen performance but no great or awful performances in the outfield apart from Faes for their first.

I didn't think Chelsea were that great either and got a bit fed up with their falling over at the slightest chance.

Our players weren't great, but neither were they awful. The problem is as always the lack of tactics or plan, and that's from the manager.

If we had a better manager then we have the ability to stay up, particularly considering how rubbish some of the others teams at the bottom are.

Khanouss I thought offered the most but was too often left with no support. Mads was a good as always.

Soumare done ok yet for such a big man doesn't offer more in winning the Ball back. VK is continuing to improve.

Faes and Okoli werea train wreck all day. McAteer needs to do more but he got our only real shot on goal during play.

Vardy was too well marked to be effective. Ayew made a difference when he came on down the right.

It's nice to see Daka back playing regardless of what we think of him. He didn't do anything wrong.

The rest were average to poor.

Faes is a liability.

Vardy offers very little now.

However when you look through this squad that we have, we definitely have some players that have ability.

With the right coach, we’ll get ourselves out of this hole that we are in.

Vardy had nothing to do with it. I didn't even know how to assess a striker who was that badly cut off.

Because he doesn’t make runs into the channels like every other striker in the league does for a start. It’s not his fault, he’s 37. But to start with him at this level every single game in 2024 is testament to how bad our recruitment has been for years in that department.

Mads 7 Some good saves as usual. Chelsea number 1 next season

Justin 6 Didn’t do a lot wrong and up against a strong left with Cucarella and Felix

Faes 4 I was speechless for the goal he caused us to concede. When he’s concentrating and on it, he’s fine but when he has a game like yesterday (thinking he’s better than he is) he’s a liability

Okoli 5 Fine up until the second goal where he lets the ball orbit his head for some reason. Pathetic defending

Kristiansen 7 Struggled early on but grew into the game and dealt with a very tricky winger very well. Pick of the back 4

Ndidi 5 Deserved a red and didn’t contribute anything of note

Soumare 7 Probably best game he’s had for us. He even sprinted at one point!

Skipp 5 Disappointing performance. Sure there’s a player in there, but yesterday I failed to see what he really offers

El Khanouss 7.5 Nice feet, can pick a pass as well. If he had better players around him and was given more license by the Manager to play on the front foot, he’d get better and better. Would play him next week for sure

McAteer 4 He’s not a Premier League player. Bizarre choice to play ahead of Mavidivi, Ayew or even BDC. So out of his depth poor lad

Vardy 4 No threat. He needs help ffs. Daka not the answer either. Feeling very depressed about our options at centre forward. We just have no physical presence whatsoever up there. Vardy just ends up totally isolated and their centre halves won’t have an easier game all season than that.

Yes, I’d agree with this. Prime Vardy made things happens himself.

He’s obviously an elite forward and we’ll be incredibly lucky is we get a replacement either way anything near his ability level during the next 5 - 10 years, maybe ever.

However, it’s like playing with 10 men at times. 8 if you consider we’re carrying Faes and Justin as well.

And McAteer yesterday!
