I think he’d start most matches. More than Buonanotte currently does.  Also he won’t be here next season.
We are unlikely to sign a better player than KDH in the summer, especially if we are in the Championship.

KDH is weak and he has limited ability to pick a pass, something Soumare admittedly does far too little.

That’s because they start so deep and Soumare ends up too close to Winks, he also seems unwilling to turn with the ball and blasts the short pass back too often.  He’s frustrating as players bounce off him when he’s attacking but in defence he’s weak and doesn’t seem to have much awareness or urgency. 
 

If we had a midfielder breaking up play and pressing we could have more loose balls and start higher up the pitch and also feed balls into space for him to attack. 

 

This would also benefit Mavadidi but his main problem is he won’t attempt to run at players or even pass on the overlap.

Because he's up himself and thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. Yes he was great last season but he's in the prem now and average at best.

Midfielders jobs are to support the defence and support the attacking phases.

 

Both of which isn't happening.

KDH played more as an attacking outlet ie a 10/Advanced 8 under Enzo and I personally don’t think he’d produce anywhere near the numbers he did in the championship in the prem… obviously it’s all but an opinion but for me I wouldn’t start him ahead of Bilal and even if that was an option stunting the growth of a young talented sellable asset to bring him back on loan makes zero sense…. Then would I play him over Wilf/winks/bouba? No as he’s not a holding midfielder so For Me he doesn’t get in or improve our team 🤷🏼‍♂️

 

We need to invest defensively LB/RB/CB once that’s sorted maybe look at another winger/forward not a 8/10

This forum is beyond nuts sometimes - we’ve lost 6 on the bounce and are second bottom - he becomes our best player again instantly

Just supposing we could buy prime Messi, whilst the best player in the world, we'd still ship loads of goals and probably only score a few more. You got to solve the problem and KDH won't do that. We aren't controlling games, and whilst I'd love KDH back at the club and he may be one of the better players if he returned, he really isn't what is required as a priority with the limited funds we have.

I actually think both Bilal and Facundo have had their best games for us so far when starting wide


I don’t think it will happen anyway, I would be happy if it did though - as long as it wasn’t at the expense of us getting someone for the more urgent positions

Better players than we have is the priority- in all areas - no of course he won’t single handedly stop us conceding goals but he will 100% make the team better
