He was charged but Wolves/Cunha can appeal it, which means the suspension could be delayed. Not sure if they have appealed it though. I believe they had until last night to submit.

If he does play, some of the players should try to wind him up..

Hope the stewards won't be wearing glasses..

How come this game is 2pm on a Sunday if neither us nor Wolves were involved in the League Cup or Europe and we're not on tele?

Tigers are at home and on TV.

Right, so we were all getting ourselves into a right shitfit over Ward being our GK for X amount of weeks because...

Would get Stolarczyk fit and rotate him with Mads over Christmas to reduce long term injury risk if that’s a problem.

Wouldn't be opposed to it. The FA Cup game is only a couple of weeks away, so definitely play Jakub in that.

Wolves press conference is at 1.30pm so guess we find out about Cunha after then.

They’ll appeal it knowing it’ll delay the process of him being banned so he’ll be available for this game.

Historically when we don't give a definitive answer it's not great news.

True but equally we don't want to give too much away to the opposition.

I'd be more inclined to believe RVN is playing his cards close rather than the Brendan lying strategy.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy Pre-Match Conference vs Wolves

On Vítor Pereira’s arrival

"You can do some research on what he’s been doing in Saudi and the teams he’s managed before. Changes can be made, but he’s only had a small amount of time to implement them. You also have to prepare for surprises."

On #LEIWOL

"We know where we are in the table, and Wolves as well. For us, it’s important to continue developing, it’s our third week together. It’s also important to react on last week’s performance, it’s the next step in our development and how we want to play."

On squad progress

"Players are buying into the game model and the way we want to play, we’re getting more aligned in that. We’ve seen some very good bits and some disappointing bits so far. It’s the journey we’re on."

On the festive fixtures

"Nobody is thinking ahead of Wolves at this moment, we don’t want to affect our performance on Sunday. We have to focus on today, tomorrow and preparing in the same way, being at our peak for Wolves."

Injuries

Asked if Hermansen could feature against , he said: “That’s a question. We’re still doing everything we can and Mads is as well to make it for the game. There’s a possibility that he can. That’s the good news.

“It was worrying that he had to leave the pitch at half-time. It was an immediate assessment, treatment and rehab [after the game] and we’re waiting to see how today and tomorrow is, of course, to see if he can play on Sunday. It’s a possibility but we’ll have to see.”

“We keep our options open,” he added. “We know that we’re going for Mads, to see if he can make it. If not, we have a decision to make. We have to wait on today and tomorrow, how training goes.

“We know also that the situation is that Jakub is recently only back from a long injury. He’s just played one game in the Under-21s. All that information, we will analyse, and make the best decision possible.”

“Harry has been fully a part of team training,” van Nistelrooy explained. “He’s available for selection again which is very positive news for the team, for the squad. Wilfred is in his rehab. He’s not on the pitch so he’s not available for selection.”
