If Ward does play then people really should refuse to give them the viewing figure. I won't be. I'm not having my intelligence insulted again.

 

I don't think it's hyperbolic to say if he does play that records could fall. The circumstances are there.

I wouldn’t even go, you’re an absolute mug if you’re going to waste your Boxing Day to travel to watch us get probably historically devoured….. it’s insane. I’m not even going to bother looking at the score, I’ll come on here once it’s over and see how bad it was. 
 

Unless people actually start voting with their feet, the club won’t change.

If Ward plays or is even on the bench, I'm out. If Coady starts, I'm out. If Ayew starts, I'm out. If Buonnotte is on the bench, I'm out. If McAteer starts, I'm out. If Winks is on the bench again, I'm out. 

 

Think the chances of me watching this are slim to none!

There was a time it was unthinkable that I'd agree with this sort of thing but I'm there now as well. It couldn't be more different to the last time we got promoted. We were bad, but we tried.

 

I refused to watch the Wolves game when I saw the lineup. Total vindication. It was even more hilariously bad than I thought it would be.

Think it's going to take relegation,a couple  of years of mid table championship football  to get get rid of these players that obviously  think they are better than they are and hopefully  to have a wake up call and start again with young players eager to prove a point and play with some pride.

Tho I might move some personnel for Hamza's pace and tenacity..., Okoli perhaps for pace and muscle.... and add Skipp as an extra body into midfield to shore up against an onslaught... at the expense of an attacking player

No fan of Hamza at right back but no way Justin can play in this. It's Vestergaard or Coady for me, we are likely to barely touch the ball so Coady for this one. Faes has got history of scoring goals at Anfield lol 

 

I feel Ruud has set himself up to look an idiot if he doesn't play Ward but surely he can't. Jakub will get chucked in, if he's ready or not. 

 

I don't really care if it works, I just want to see an attempt to change things.

I like your team - we desperately need to start playing a back 5 away from home and I'd do the same for Manchester City too 

 

Ward must go 

JJ must go 

Skipp must go 

Ayew must go 

 

He basically needs to reverse his complete brain fart selection from Sunday 

 

Get working on set pieces as that's about the only chance for us and get doing the dark arts - put them under pressure, ask some questions of the ref and get the fuch in to them

This is where he shows if he is good at man management, Pearson's biggest asset. For the sake of Justin, ward (who should never play again), Coady and Skipp he needs to take them out of the firing line. We know we're going to get slaughtered, so take players who are fresh and hungry for it. If we lose, at least they'll give it all. Jakub in goal, nothing to lose l, no pressure on him. If he makes one save, he is instantly better than ward. Give Vards a break, he doesn't need the hassle. 

 

I'd take 4-0 loss, but having a go at them with enthusiasm and willingness to be aggressive then I'd take that. Falling over like Ward I will not

Press conference due to start in a few minutes. Interesting if it is reported to hear what Ruud has to say for himself now the dust has settled on what is possibly the most disgraceful home performance in years.

5-3-2 with Victor being the engine who can carry a bit of width on left hand side. If he does go forward we can switch to a 4 at back still being relatively solid.

 

Although I'd be tempted to take out one of the two strikers and put in Buonanotte to be able to carry the ball up the pitch.

 

But one up front means we lose more opportunity to counter on the break which is our only attempt to get anything out of this game and therefore we need pace up top and players who can stretch the play.

Really tough one to call, obviously ward has to be dropped, surely? The defence is a mess right now, literally you could drop them in their entirety they've been so bad. I'm beginning to think Kris is very much in the mold of Justin, we actually look as bad that side now as the other! Coady is struggling at this level, but at least less brain farts as some, like vester who is looking every bit the defender that got us relegated in 22-23. JJ obviously woefully out of form, but Choudhury is not a replacement, in my opinion. If okoli is fit play him, just for his youthful energy if nothing else. Then coad or fes alongside. I'd even be tempted to play Thomas at lb over Kris at the moment. May as well mix it up totally at the back, 7 in 2 is not good enough.

Would think Vardy will miss this in favour of starting against the Mancs.  For whatever reason Iversen won’t have a look in so you’ve got to hope one of Mads or Jakub is fit enough to last the 90. Ward starts, we get hammered, it’ll be brutal in the away end.

Sorry my bad, must have been the few games or whatever the season before that then. But we knew he not good enough at this level, we were worried even in the championship no?
