Might have staved off relegation for that season but - as accountable as Rodgers is - by that point the rot had well and truly set in.

The last 2 seasons of rodgers saw the board asleep at the wheel.   The spending was a gamble on securing cl football.... ridgers failed.   

Then when rodgers was trying to send a message for more spending a squad with great players headed to relegation.  The board should have sacked rodgers 6mths earlier (by October we could all see where we were heading).

I believe that these two errors have spawned all our troubles of today.  Top is indecisive and poorly advised.

I wasn't against having an open top bus for the Championship win because for Enzo and the players involved it was still their achievement that deserved to be celebrated. Regardless of the fact as a club it was certainly nothing to be celebratory about. 

 

The fact Top did what he did and invited those influencers and gave them and separate bus, and celebrated it himself like it was some great achievement on his part, was a disgrace at the time. It's actually even worse in hindsight given that we now know relegation has resigned us to fighting court battles in the second division for probably the next decade. 

 

This was never anything more than a vanity project for Thailand. We just never cared we were a billboard for it all because of the Premier League win. The FA Cup winning shirts have THAILAND splashed across them ffs. No way we'd ever have been okay with this shit from anyone else. It's a joke what we have become under him.

I wouldn’t need to judge you as a person just to see from that one post, that you are saying that there should be 30,000 people clapping politely and refusing to question the failures of the club whilst we are on a slide. When is a suitable time to be unhappy for you? League 1? League 2? Just wondering how far Top is aloud to let us fall in your view?

 

What we should be is a club that respects the fanbase, that appreciates its place in the football pyramid but makes smart choices around recruitment and have a squad of players and manager who show some fight and desire, qualities most of us will have been brought up expecting from Leicester sides over the years. Also using the youth system to bring local kids through.
 

It’s not about being top 6 or top half or even a constant in the Premier League. It’s about having pride in the club. I had pride in the club when we were in League 1. Now though, there is nothing to be proud about. We are an embarrassment.
