I just cannot believe we still have to ensure this phrase. How much worse does it have to get?

It's a stupid phrase anyway. If you had a wish and wish for new owners, then your wish has been fulfilled? Or if you wish for new owners to put things right, then you will get new owners who put things right. Nobody is wishing for even worse owners are they lol

Or maybe Aladdin just completely got the concept of a wish wrong...

You mean back to where we have never been before in our history until KP came along - you donut!!

Yep they need a shake and we need a fresh approach but be very very careful what you wish for as whilst they have undoubtedly made mistakes in the last 5 years - they can put this right !!

What in the last 3 years gives you any indication that they can “put things right” ? We’re currently going through our most uncompetitive, embarrassing season in the last 30 years. That includes the season we went down to League One. We haven’t competed in 32 games. We are 20 points behind our nearest rival. We have players we’ve spent millions on who don’t get in the squad. A manager who quite frankly isn’t a manager. And haven’t scored a home goal in 4 months.

What is it ?

The ideal scenario maybe that Top allows in  a new partner to share the ownership. This brings in more investment so it’s not all on KP and also some much needed vision and direction. Things need freshening up big time! Two relegations has really thrown everyone off course. We’ve lost our way as a club but it can be got back quickly. Vichai’s dream can still continue and grow. There’s no way he would have wanted us to turn into a yoyo club again or struggle in the lower divisions. He reached the top of the business world and sustained it. That’s what LCFC needs to get back to do doing.

fresh new blood at the top of the club with much needed proven expertise and experience of success will be healthy.

With what we have achieved as a club in the last 10 years there has to be wealthy consortiums checking us out. I refuse to believe otherwise. Leeds have Red Bull and the peeps behind the 49ers. If they can attract that kind of investor so can we.

I'd imagine it was the success we had last season, winning the league, appointing Enzo, getting us playing amazing football, Mads, Fatawu, Bilal etc, think that counts as putting things right.

The expected psr mess combined with Enzo leaving wrote our season off then.

In hind sight if we'd done the psr cleverness earlier we could have attracted a better manager, that was the main mistake as I see it.

Vestergaards contract was Enzos fault (ish) The rubbish signings in summer I put more blame on Cooper.

As for the not communicating with the fans, I'd like more. But it didn't help us win fa cup or championship so I understand why it may not be a top priority for the board. Maybe it should be, if they told us they had a new plan to sign better players and they were sorry about the mistakes made this season, is that what people want from King Power in terms of communicating with the fans?

Is this a joke? Bilal 😂

Getting promoted from a league we should never have been in, playing football most people thought was dull 90% of the time despite having the most expensive squad ever at that level etc.

That’s not putting things right. Re-establishing us as a PL regular, putting a long term plan in place, hiring managers who they’d done research on, might have been a start.

How low do we have to fall and how tragic can we be before this phrase can get placed in the bin? Or more to the point, turn it round on the KP clappers!

I’ve always thought this ‘Top doesn’t care’ view was an exaggeration and he’s simply out of his depth trusting the wrong people.

I’ve started to turn though.

The relegation two years ago, as much of a diabolical slow motion train crash it was, could in some ways be excused as an anomaly (that’s not my personal opinion)

But for it to happen twice in 3 seasons?

The Top and Rudkin laughing photo from the weekend has grated on me the more I think about it.

The ‘confirmed our place in the Championship’ SM post by way of acknowledging our relegation

The lack of statement this week

Tops ownership is like being in a relationship where your other half puts all the nice stuff up on Facebook, but completely rejects and refuses to work on all the flaws of the relationship behind closed doors 😂

That plane banner came at absolutely the right time (if too late) and there should be not one ounce of remorse or regret from anyone who chipped in to fund it.

Are we truly owned by KP or Top? If the rumours are true that we may be ‘sold’ but only to another Thai business on the say so of the Thailand government, then perhaps KP have only ever been custodians of the club and we are therefore effectively ‘state’ owned.

Given our 2nd relegation in 3 years perhaps the Thai government want a better return on their investment and have decided to move Top and Co out and bring in someone new under ‘new ownership’ to get the club moving forward again.

This is something I can’t get my head around. The team went down, with a group of players who are all now playing at much higher standard than our current level. It was a majority squad which finished 8th the season before. As a result we had a budget never seen before at Championship level. The reason we were at that level and subsequently dropped so significantly is because of significant mismanagement at the level we should’ve been at.

its like taking a shit on the floor but being told well done because you’ve some sand to cover it up.

Im not going to class that as getting it right. Im also not going to place blame on managers who are no longer here for poor transfer decisions - that is managements responsibility to ensure those mistakes do not happen.

Source?

I have seen on another forum and it’s also been discussed in a WhatsApp group I am in from someone who has a decent link to club. Not that I am validating the quality of said information

There are some rumours that we we will be sold to another Thai businessman.

Sarath Ratanavadi - richest individual in Thailand.  Rumours obtained from Bentleys Roof.  He is worth about £9Billion but hardly means we’re going to improve and invest due to PSR.

I think there's a lot of factors, one interesting one though is Anthony Herlihy was only in charge of the media department back then, not all comms.

He's another who sits on Tops lap and has been Comms Director since 2018. Downhill since in that department...

If Top/KP did sell, would that mean all the KPFC lovers would no longer be interested and take their hobby elsewhere?

There's also the KP horse racing operation if they want to follow another one of Top's money pits. Watching a horse he bought for £500k finishing last at Wolverhampton would be more entertaining than watching Soumare and Faes anyway.

We maybe had different fans back then, now we'd moan about the breakfast not being hot enough, t-shirt was itchy and a £5 voucher isn't enough to get food And a drink.😂 🗣coconut rolls 😤
