So I've been given some info today from a very well placed source. I can't reveal absolutely everything I was told as it will be obvious who has spoken to me. The key bits are not really surprising.

Rudkins move is actually a promotion. He takes up whelans responsibilities alongside his existing ones.

Top makes every decision and is very hands on. However.....he doesn't move quickly enough. At the moment polo/horses are taking priority and the issues around Leicester are in the back seat for now.

The club's staff are more than aware of the many issues but are powerless. Top really isn't around.

It's the main reason we haven't managed to hire a technical director. Things move far too slowly. As a club the systems/processes are light years behind where they need to be.

The club are expecting and planning for a 6 point deduction. They think that even with this they can make play offs.

The “Top needs to replace Rudkin” brigade are in the mud then

Aiyawatt pulling KPFC’s pants down again

I'd rather chat and banter with a forest fan than someone who is backing King Power in 2026.

Get this into your heads, being pro-aiyawatt is more damaging to this club than any Forest or Coventry fan could ever be.

Can Top genuinely do anything to get all the fans back on board?

Previously, I thought replacing Rudkin would do this, but genuinely think that too much incompetency has tarnished KPFC.

GTFO

And take that stooge Rudkin with you

I don't want to defend the mess that's been made but I would point out there's a lot of charlatans and chancers out there happy to buy clubs. There are a lot worse than Top.

If he loves the club as much as the KPFC lot say they he won't sell to anyone like that, so we've nowt to worry about!

There absolutely are chancers and charlatans out there wanting to buy clubs. Whether you want to accept it, we are currently owned by one. His treatment of everything dear to his father shows that. He’s ****ed it. He’s ****ed it here. He’s ****ed it in Thailand. Despite that, he showing no remorse or effort to correct it.

Any one with an ounce of decency would be prioritising those businesses that his father so dearly cared for. Left him. Tried to nurture him to look after. For the good of him and, more importantly, his family. What’s he done ? What’s he doing ? What is he continuing to do ? This is the individual so many are backing as a good guy. That isn’t a man showing his love and devotion for man who backed him in front of the world. It’s a bloody disgrace.

I would happily take my chances to get rid of him and those who blindly support him. There far better than Top out there in many walks of life. And if people can’t see that, with the facts in front of them, shame on them.

Great post and that i think is the problem......Many of our supporters still think it's KP so it'll be ok.I was saying a season before Rodgers went "His dad wouldn't let to this stage" and it's going the way many of us expected.........Vichai had his heart in the club but his son doesn't.

Whilst incompetently run we've not been left penniless in administration again. There really are a lot worse. Ask Sheff Wednesday fans.

He's demonstrated for several seasons now that he is incapable of learning from any of the mistakes he has made and will continue to repeat them.

Despite fan preference, why would KP sell this low risk, visible asset?

That's the problem....it's ok having a thing saying "Sack the board".........but the board won't sack themselves..........Absolutely no accountabillity at the club and that comes from the "TOP"

Staff keeping the lights on will start jumping ship soon, it’ll implode

A lot of the general day to day staff are already going, there's been 2 or 3 well known long serving staff go in the past 12/18 months go.

Heard similar. There will be a few with a direct line to Whelan who will start looking at opportunities elsewhere, Dan Barnett has landed on his feet at Hearts - Bloom is no mug.

We just don’t fill vacancies with the urgency of a £100m (for now) t/o company. Everybody concerned on FT is very early to what’s going on

Because an Australian bank wants a significant amount of money in the next couple of years

True. Unless we return to Premier league and offset against future revenue, yes we will be on the hook.

Happy new year!
