I think whether we finally get them gone will just depend on whether King Power as a business recover or not. He’s not putting in any money, so when the parachute payments dry up, he’ll effectively have no choice but to sell if he can’t fund it.

Don't think he has much sway anymore even if KP had the funds. There's a new guy in charge so I doubt he and the board of KP would release any cash to loss making side of the business.

Depends if they believe the club can begin to make them money again.

Take this with a huge pinch of salt but just been told by someone that a huge announcement is expected next week by the club. Now that’s all he was told and I don’t know if it’s the points deduction or not but thought I’d share. As I said tho probably just rumours being spread

Stadium catering contract now with Farm Foods?

Who says they don’t? If people are going by what’s posted on companies house then

Top is listed because of Companies house guidance, it doesn’t mean that King power no longer owns the club

The Companies House guidance says a Person of significant control (PSC) should normally be individuals who ultimately own or control the company; if a foreign company is in between, the UK company still has to identify the real person behind that structure.
•    Many UK companies simplify things by putting the controlling individual on the PSC register rather than a foreign holding company,

Also the club used the line, "wages to be paid on the 31st December to aline with the rest of the King Power group". When defending the "late" payment of wages !

If the King Power/Vichai statue gets removed, once the organisation is no longer associated with the club, it could well upset a lot of people.

We are in a worst position than when they took over. That can't now be doubted. We are haemorrhage money, we have an impending points deduction, we have a playing squad that is both grossly overpaid and is toxic in nature. We have a manager who can't get said players organised or sufficiently motivated. Fans are divided. We have a Call Centre Manager as CEO, we have a DoF who fell in to the job at the luckiest time but cannot actually do the job. If all that wasn't bad enough, we have an owner who doesn't have any business acumen, doesn't appear to have much interest in football and it would appear that the only reason he still owns the club is because the stadium has turned into his father's memorial site.

Just put a covenant in the sale contract that forbids it being moved

We'll see. He's a ***** and I don't want him here but I don't remember him putting a club in this financial mess.

he didn't put clubs in financial messes much as the Venkys haven't Blackburn. You can argue till the cows come home whether the complete neglect of the club that someone like Ashley or the Venkys does is worse than putting the club on a financial precipice in order to give Ryan Bertrand 80 bags a week, and whether in the absence of any communication at all outside of one pre-recorded interview, whether we are in a neglect situation like Blackburn and Ashley era Newcastle but he wouldn't be a good owner by any stretch of the imagination

No one is going to come in and rip that down.

I've never said he's a good owner and I don't want him here. I just think our owner is doing an even worse job - which is remarkable.

It should be put in the centre of the memorial garden. Surely nobody reasonable could take issue with that!

.my understand is that the shares were owned by vichai and by chinese fella.  Vichai also owned shares in king power and ran it... hense  the tie up.

Now the club is ownrd by tops family and the chinaman. Top mo longer runs kimg power.... thus he cannot arrange for king power to cadhflow the club.

So he can put his own money in... but i suspect he is not that liquid.  If hmrc came calling....

Has he ever ran King Power? He was previously CEO and now he is currently Executive Chairman of the King Power Group, his mum is top of the chain as Senior Chairman and has been since Vichai died

Why, then, did we have the horrible PR of delaying payment for staff last month to align with King Power payment structures?

'Who's going to buy us then?'

I don't know but the current owners bought us after three seasons of relegation from the Championship, won League 1 and a playoff finish in the Championship.
