I don’t think it’s necessarily incompetence. I actually think it’s negligence.

His attendance at games in recent years is patchy at best. When he is here it’s a vanity project and he has one hundred Thai hangers on with him. He enjoys the attention that comes so easily thanks to a gullible fan base associating him with his father’s success.

Him turning up to the Forest home game in the relegation season for the first time that season and later shooting disapproving looks at Union FS urging the board to act before it was too late were were prime examples of him being so far out of touch that he can’t possibly be in it day to day.

Now I don’t doubt that, were he properly involved, he’d still be incompetent. As others have said, this is just a rich kid that has inherited a play thing and never had to learn the unteachable lessons that a founder learns on the way up in building a huge business. But fortunately I don’t think he’s even that ‘in it‘ to be able to make things even worse (I dread to think).

If the night that helicopter went down we’d have been sold to ABC Corporation, and you were judging their record since then, you’d be attributing the FA Cup win to a hangover from the previous ownership and absolutely livid at the demise that had followed under the new ownership thereafter. There’d be an overwhelming majority wanting them gone and pining for King Power back. Unfortunately 90% of our fan base can’t detach themselves from the emotion around Vichai to view things as rationally as seeing that Top-owned LCFC and this new era is ABC Corporation.

He doesnt need to be in it day to day to be incompetent.  I would say he is quite possibly both.

Thing that I don’t understand is the comments from Top is about the fans shouldn’t of had to experience the season when we went down which to me implies like the club we go for it to make sure it’s not a likely to happen again then we end up with Cooper and a shot squad surely he should of knew it was likely if you have a shit squad your off back down

Maybe, but the point is, they appointed him and it was a good choice, you can’t plan for him leaving so quickly though

It turned out to be a good choice but was equally risky so we got lucky and had the best side in that division.

whilst he’s doing well at Chelsea I would not be surprised if this tails off second half of the season.

King Power no longer own us directly. They haven’t since the 22nd February 2019.

Top has control and I’m not sure it makes that much difference.

Reading the accounts it acknowledges that we are part of the wider group.

I do wonder if we are tidying up stuff on companies house as we have a new Financial Director.

King Power was also restructured last year (or 2023)

It’s clear they what to branch outside of duty free as that limits them as they basically operate under license.

As a larger rule, we are part of the King Power, Thai Power which is promoting the growth of sport and encouraging Thai people to seek to go further.

Whether we like it or not, King Power aren’t going anywhere, as we are a vessel to promote football, sport, growth etc to the Thailand people and hence the name worldwide.

Not sure how much of this is to generate additional revenue toward the King Power brand but call me cyclical! However we need to stay in the Premier League to enhance it.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see King Power acquire more sports clubs. I wonder if they’d ever considered the Tigers.

The racing manager of the KP Racing operation is a bloodstock agent called Alastair Donald, I think Rudkin's role in running it is overblown.

I assumed it was a way to get half his salary off the club books for some reason.

I’m sure this was considered a couple of years ago?

Why would working in a chip shop be his chosen line of work?

Err. Just to point out that to buy something, it must be for sale, Leicester Tigers is most definitely NOT for sale and even if it were Rugby for all it's perceived faults is not a mercenary money grabbing ex- sport that football has become.

God forebid someone like our owners EVER get hold of Tigers.

Sorry to disappoint but it's not, Tigers is like a family, selling to a shady Thai businessman would be like selling your mother to white slavers.

Happens every day in football, Rugby isn't football.

Tigers is run within its income and has been for years, often at the apparent cost of trophies but always to ensure it is here next season.

There have been numerous offers of investment/purchase over the years, wisely all turned down (the one in 2020 because no investors shared the clubs vision of the future).

Tigers are a PLC they are always for sale, you buy over a certain percentage of shares and you can force a take over

I feel the same when the idea gets mooted about that they should invest down Grace Road. No thank you.
