One comment was

‘And who would buy us’

Another was

‘Top will never sell

People are stupid and DUMB’

'And who would buy us' is not the flex that poster thinks it is. It's a fair question - but only because the shocking and overpaid playing squad, massive debts and unbuilt extension make us a tough sell for anyone!

I'm guessing it was just a different way to phrase 'be careful what you wish for', as if whoever comes in could possibly do a worse job without folding the entire club on day one.

My point was that any protest has to be the whole end not just pockets here and there. I ve seen our away ends and have given up

Why does it have to be?

If we wait for 80% to protest we'll be waiting a long time

It's OK to ask but Wednesday have supposedly had numerous bidders in no time at all after going into administration and whilst looking likely to go down.

I can't say I've got the foggiest who would buy us and we certainly could end up with someone just as bad if not worse, but that shouldn't stop us trying.

Nice to see quite a few folk on social media getting behind KP out. About time.

Their time is up. I can’t think of a single instance where fans get to this point and an ownership manages to turn it around.

Well that’s the thing isn’t it … it’s too far gone now. There’s no way under this regime that we get back to solid established premier league side. Even if they weren’t shit, they don’t have the money anyway. Unfortunately, too much of the fanbase will just accept this because we won the premier league once.

Nobody truly knows how difficult it is to inherit a billion pound fortune and know how to do the correct thing with it. It must be horrible for Top, and no wonder he is close to Rudkin as he’s helping him to navigate the real world. He’s trying his best and we MUST support Top, King Power and Rudkin in this difficult time. Ultimately unless you’ve walked a day in a billionaire’s shoes, especially those who have close relationships with royal families and corrupt national governments, then you know nothing about real struggle. Support the lads. KPFC forever 💙

This is satire right?

Good grief!

Whether you’re trolling or not I do agree that the circumstances in which he gained control were horrible and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone BUT I’d like to think that I was intelligent enough to realise I was in way over my head and relinquish control, unfortunately this is Aiyawatt the arrogant and no such realisation is on the horizon.

That’s exactly what KP have tried to perpetuate over the years. The cult of the personality and so on, much like dictator regimes.

It has worked, you read fairly regularly wide of the mark remarks from fans about them ‘saving the club’, ‘being nothing before them’ etc.

Irrespective of the result today, they need to act now and replace the manager. He's taking us down to League One.

Could learn a thing or two from Norwich having just walked past their protest outside the ground. Flares and chanting outside the directors entrance- our fan wouldn’t have it in them

Our fans obviously haven’t seen enough pain yet so just hope for more !

Let them travel home and away and witness more dross and decay of a football club in absolute tatters & decline.

One day the penny will drop and he’ll sell up if the pressure becomes too much and we’ll get our wonderful football club back and piece by piece we’ll put it back together !
