Ideal time for the interim CEO to be in an office at the ground sorting things out...... oh...

Posted (edited)

Even my Dad who has been firmly in the happy clapper camp for the past few years has turned. It is happening, gradually. There will come a tipping point before long where it's the KPFC sycophants who are laughed out of the room, not those rightly calling a spade a spade.

Thousands of empty seats today, anger amongst a large chunk of those there, and a chairman gone AWOL.

Sub-20k attendance and League one, here we come. Failure at every level has ripped the heart and soul out of our club.

Think Susan Whelan had seen something coming.

Potentially but I think she disagreed with the reemergence of BC Game and that was the proverbial straw.

If people think this is bad they're in for a shock as I fear this is only the start. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Looks that way. For a while I thought we were destined to be the new Stoke or Swansea, formerly "established" Premier League team now treading water in the Championship for the foreseeable - that's beginning to feel optimistic. While the squad gets worse year on year and the same failures are allowed to keep on failing without any suggestion whatsoever of accountability or repurcussions, hard to see how the current trajectory doesn't continue.

The amount of loans we have took out against transfers & future tv money is the worrying bit. We’ve got 1 sellable asset in Fatawu and that’s it.

I think we are a year away from finding ourselves in a Sheffield Wednesday situation. The parachute money will be gone, no significant amount of money from transfers, a £100 million training ground to maintain on championship money.

Aiywatts family will eventually stop him from pumping their own money into the club for day to day costs.

She was loyal to king power but could no longer stay loyal to such blatant corruption?

Stopped supporting the club itself a while ago, rebranding the kit with bc game was the final straw. Just started focusing on the 11 on the pitch, now I’m checked out there too after today. Not sure where I go now. Back to the bottle probably. Phil

He’s not here because of the death of the former Queen of Thailand earlier this week.

Surely some Middle Eastern/American want buy us?! For nostalgia if nothing else

Would hope so.

We’ve become quite famous in the modern world due to our title win, social media followings show this, so surely someone would grab the opportunity to own us.

Just putting aside the question of change of ownership if I may simply because of the process and who would want to buy the club. But surely Rudkin's position is untenable

We have been on a decline for the past 5 or so years and gaining momentum,  and yes his position has been untenable for ages, our well documented woes, impending points deduction is all the proof you need, but Teflon is living up to his nick name... the only way he leaves is when Top does.

Does that explain all his other absences over the last 5 years?

I mean Thailand has a big royal family but that’s taking the piss abit

You can't have one without the other. Rudkin is here as long as Top is. His position has been untenable for years and he's still here. That ain't changing until Top goes
