Leicestershire live reporting they have taken out another bank loan for transfer funds.

Lets hope this means in the last stages of some top secret business

The charge was created on 9 January 2025 not today - suggests it’s been negotiated pre-Christmas. The club have had draw down ability since creation of the charge. The Cannon sale is perhaps better indication of pending deals than this.

Nonetheless, releasing hard cash is not the clubs issue on lack of transfer activity. No deal (unless it’s United buying Maguire) is immediate payment. The creation of such lending arrangement would be simply to manage cash flow. The money is still due and owing regardless of the charge - meaning business can still be done.

I wouldn’t need to judge you as a person just to see from that one post, that you are saying that there should be 30,000 people clapping politely and refusing to question the failures of the club whilst we are on a slide. When is a suitable time to be unhappy for you? League 1? League 2? Just wondering how far Top is aloud to let us fall in your view?

What we should be is a club that respects the fanbase, that appreciates its place in the football pyramid but makes smart choices around recruitment and have a squad of players and manager who show some fight and desire, qualities most of us will have been brought up expecting from Leicester sides over the years. Also using the youth system to bring local kids through.

It’s not about being top 6 or top half or even a constant in the Premier League. It’s about having pride in the club. I had pride in the club when we were in League 1. Now though, there is nothing to be proud about. We are an embarrassment.

Your comment proves perception is not your strong point. I far from think 30,000 people should be politely clapping so that's just you chatting shit about me without knowing.

People spouting sack the board , sack Ruud , does this include wanting Top and King Power out too, if so who's coming in for the club in the state that it's in atm with a pending relegation? Have people also considered the compounding of these precarious financial issues with the costs involved in all these people out?

All I see is complaints but not a second thought on succession planning , solutions and the ramifications.

Maybe if you don’t want to be judged and got at, you should also back off with the aggressive attitude towards others?

You stated that if people want to be unhappy, they should stay at home. How does that help? Not everybody is demanding for everyone to be booted out and rack up costs. People just want there to be standards at the club at which there currently are none.

What exactly is your expectation of fans at the ground? How do you think the fan base should express their feelings and demand that the constant mistakes being made are rectified? You say people aren’t coming up with solutions etc. You’re saying you’re not happy either but we shouldn’t moan. So it doesn’t sound like you have a solution either to be honest.

You know sweet fa about me yet you refer to me as a happy clapper , I'm far from that!

You're just being obnoxious and judgemental.

Please enlighten me on 'what we could be'  and how? What exactly can't I see past the end of my nose over , who do you want out, why , how and who's coming in? U'll guess someone else you'll bitch and moan about , have a kneejerk reaction about and protest over ?

Essential views on here:

Everyone needs sacking, the board, players, manager etc.

Cup draws are fixed.

Refs are all corrupt.

The EPL hate us because we won it.

Everything needs changing but no real idea what to.

Dissenters will, oh so cringily, be called happy clappers or Jon and without fail some no mark sheep will find it funny.

Got at , get a grip, I never have and never will see any benefits in getting on individual players and the managers back during the 90 minutes.

There are ways to make feelings known that doesn't involve being toxic during the game but each to their own eh.

I personally think that things need changing but not as dramatically as some of the , imho, over dramatic reactions on here.

We keep saying 'sack the board' and 'drain the swamp' etc - but isn't the problem that, even if that were to happen, Top himself would be responsible for/heavily involved in hiring all the replacements? And we've lost a lot of faith in Top so...?

Never mind the fact that it's simply not feasible or realistic for the DOF, CEO and other seniors bods to all be replaced at once.

Correct. Heat should be on Top.

I don’t agree with getting on the backs of mangers and players (generally with a few exceptions like Rodgers). But that isn’t the debate here is it. It is about the regime, the board, those running the club. I would hope it is obvious to the players and manager when the atmosphere turning is against the above. You can protest whilst still getting behind the team. Other clubs have and will do just that.

What is worse for the club, is that 90% odd of those in the stadium on a match day are sterile and whilst they might not be negative, they also do nothing to get behind the the team and manager.

For me I would keep like to keep King Power on the basis that they do put their hands in their pocket and we have achieved great things. They have also showed they are fully committed. We are not here because we are strapped for cash, we are here because we have made countless wrong decisions for a very long time, meaning we have no wiggle room in PSR. Don’t get me wrong this is entirely their fault.

I would only keep them if an entire restructure is carried out and top needs to get experts in and let them do it. New DOF needs to be the priority and they need to be put in place with the remit to entirely change the direction, strategy and mindset.

I know none of this will happen. It’s fundamentally broken, that has seen loyal and sentiment drag this club down. ….so king power out! 😂

In most jobs,  particularly at a high level, failure results in being moved on - it’s part of taking the reward for success that you own the failures also.

I understand loyalty but likely two relegations in 3 years, terrible football and a squad much weaker than it was means that one or more on the business side of the club need to go.

it could be the owners, the CEO or the DoF but has to be at least one.

Embarrassing. There’s a lot of things to dislike about our club right now but much of the fan base is right up there. Absolutely pits.

The irony is, barely any of them were probably there at our lowest point. Were bestest fans Dave and Sonia from FB there when we played Dagenham & Redbridge and Stevenage in the FA Cup 1st and 2nd rounds in front of less than 8000? Of course not.

Were they there when we were hosting the likes of Cheltenham and Hereford? Nope of course not.

Because to them, there is no Leicester, only KP. They were not there before KP.
