Problem is these kids will get bullied and mocked at school by the kids that support the richer teams, and there’s not the valiant loser/community spirit approach that you get from supporting a lower league club. If you’re a Leicester fan at the moment, it’s stale, hopeless, you can’t dream, all the joy of supporting a football team has been sucked out. It’s miserable.

Always been that way mate. Back in the 80s there was just me and one other classmate who were proper City and maybe only three others in the entire school year.

By the time Brian Little got there and I was in my late teens, we were now play offs each year and I knew 25+ lads who were proper City.

Other than Daka which of those are quick?

El Kanouss seems sharp, certainly when he closes down ( or should I say presses).

I’d imagine it’ll be something like this:

Grealish will absolutely love seeing that. There’s one right back in the league who will

help him put an end to 44 games without a goal.

Wouldn't mind Mcateer back today, done well in the two games we won

Incidentally the only two games Justin has looked like a competent defender, having a winger supporting him that has good positional awareness (albeit limited ability).

We can mock the line-up all we want, but the harsh reality is we've got a shit squad decimated by injuries. Doesn't matter how you shuffle these players, it's still going to be a mess.

Mcateer cleared a few off the line if I remember also.  He offers more overall than Ayew, We just need to get him scoring again.

I’m expecting Soumare to jog after Haaland then stop when he gets close enough to tackle so he can watch him score a worldie, just like he did with Salah.

I’m not expecting anything different from these players. Too much pissing around the back putting each other under pressure, then Soumare passes to the opposition or JJ punts it down field.

Mav needs to starting running into space rather than walk towards the defender and hit the ball against his legs, he could pass to VK as well when he overlaps.

I want to see Bilal and Focundo but expecting Kasey to start. I would prefer him in the middle instead of Soumare, at least he will track runners and press.

Winks needs to take control of the attacks.

Feel so meh about this one.

You just know we are going to serve them a comfortable win, clean sheet and goal for Grealish.

Yup. Happy to cheer on a team that isn't good enough but to see Coady and BdcR and McAteer starting with far better players left on the bench means it's a pointless exercise.

Bobby and McAThomas starting over Facundo? 🙄
