Not a terrible half overall, man city are a shadow of their former selves. Cannot keep missing the chances we've had and expect to take any points from this. Guilty of massively overplaying the ball which is suicide against this quality. Keeper should have done better for their goal and as for Justin....worst player defensively and going forward by a mile.

In possession we have looked pretty accomplished and have played through Man City with ease, however out of possession we are weak, Bilal has been unreal what a talent, so composed and clever in possession, how Cooper thought he should be a bench warmer is absolutely baffling.

Facundo is quite frustrating, regularly makes the wrong decision which causes us to lose possession, I too would like to see Alves in his role.

We are desperate for a RB, LB as we are so exposed in both full back positions. Soumare is an absolute enigma, brilliant in one moment and horrifically lax the very next.

The entire defence had shuffled over. Kristiansen was high and standing next to Mavididi whilst trying to press.

Left A gap at right back. Ideally the Midfieod should pick that gap up and not Justin. Once he’s dragged inside, he’s not getting to the Winger on the rebound.

It’s just alarming how much the oppo’s eyes light up down that side. It’s every game

not bad first half, Madivi offers nothing though rather get Ried on

He poses more threat than Reid but Reid is better at moving forward and into good positions. Mavididi wasted a few good moves due to his poor decisions.

We may play like Sunday league at times but in this pro game it seems recently we just go he's got PL experience let's sign him for £20 mil

That was literally the plan last window :(

New RB, LB and LW needed, but we're not as far off as I feared last weekend with Fraud, and under Cooper.

Couldn’t agree more. I know JJ comes in for a lot of stick recently, and understandably, but I just can’t ever see what is good about VK. He just looks badly positioned most of the time.

Wasn’t really a Stolarcyk error. He saved a long shot, parried it out, and no Leicester player was anywhere near leaving Sivinho to run in for a simple tap in.

I dont blame the keeper, was a good save too. Justin leaving his side completely free yet again is a common theme and should be priority position for Jan

In fairness I’ve just seen it back and Kristiansen wasn’t as high up as I thought. He also wasn’t close to anyone. We are still shuffled over but the initial shot needs stopping as well.

Saints, Forest are going our way.  Spurs just need to get over Wolves and today is looking decent enough so far.  For us in elements of the performance over the scoreline at present.

Excellent performance considering how poor we have been.

It goes to show the importance of having ballers in the team who can beat the press. Winks, Vesty, Soumare, Bilal and Bounoette have been excellent. We can’t play like this if we have Ndidi, Hamza and arguably also Ayew (who goes down too often) in the team. The weak link has to be Justin and to some extent Mavididi with his poor decision making (passing backwards a few times when he should have passed forward - wasting a few chances in the process). But overall we deserve to be at least on a draw going into half time.

Winks/Skipp and Soumare have to be the central midfield partnership from now on.

Agree but Skipp should be no where near the team. Waste of 25m

I guess the issue is he was picking up Bernardo Silva. Who should have picked him up? Buonanotte?

He's been one of our better players this season.  There are far more urgent positions that need addressing.  Right wing being the obvious one.  Our right side is a mess.

He has been the cause for goals in the last 3 games.

Can’t press or tackle and follows the ball like my dog. Useless at making decisions, can’t turn with the ball but then he will suddenly steamroll his way up the pitch holding defenders off. He’s strong in attack but physically weak in defence.

RW and RB are priority.

It was 80% Stolarcyk error.  He could and should have done much better with the initial shot and then he literally dived the wrong way on the follow up.

An equaliser would be enormous if the Southampton and Everton games stay as they are, and Spurs get a winner against Wolves.

Justin was marking Bernardo. It’s not his fault nobody from midfield had tracked back leaving him to mark two players.

Facundo needs to come wide a bit more often, been quite a few times where we have had absolutely no one ahead of JJ and it has completely killed the move

Isn't that the plan for Buo though? To have more bodies centrally?

In which case we'd need a rapid RB.

These fixtures have come at a bad time. (I'm fact it's the 3rd time in recent years we've got these and Liverpool at xmas)

We've stepped it up a little since last Sunday and I'd be a little bit more hopeful we can survive.

Because there hasn’t been anything positive about supporting Leicester for about 4 years maybe?

We won a trophy last season. We won the cup and shield in 2021. We finished 8th before we went down. All in the last 3 years.  So yes, absolutely nothing at all.!!!!!! Try being a supporter before 2015, we spent almost our entire history bouncing between the top two divisions.

Agree he is not Winks’ level yet but he is young and has potential. He is better defensively too. No need to write him off just yet.
