What concerns me is if he chose to come to us over signing a new contract, how much extra pennies are we offering? £7m for someone that we can sign for free in 5 months? Not sure even Rudkin would go that mental! Edited 2 January 2025 by Sol thewall Bamba
iancognito Posted 2 January 2025 Posted 2 January 2025 Our wide players tore him a new one last season. Not sure he's better than what we have. 1

Not sure even Rudkin would go that mental! In 5 months we may not be able to sign anyone… this is how you get ahead of the que. We do a lot of bad business but this simply isn’t that. Clubs pay around 5m for a loan fee at the top level 5
Bezzanator89 Posted 2 January 2025 Posted 2 January 2025 He's better than our full backs, so it would be a yes from me. But Southampton would never sell him to a relegation rival.

Popular Post Muzzy_no7 Posted 4 January 2025 Popular Post Posted 4 January 2025 Chuck 7m at Saints NOW. 8
Popular Post Safestandingfox Posted 4 January 2025 Popular Post Posted 4 January 2025 I'd take KWPeter Sutcliffe as starting right back over JJ at this point, Get him out of the team any possible way 5
moore_94 Posted 4 January 2025 Author Posted 4 January 2025 Better than JJ obviously and would come in as our best full back but I don't think he does that much defensively does he?

Just sick of us making the same mistakes over and over. The difference is that we've taken players off of Premier League clubs that they wanted to get rid of. I don't think Southampton would want to let KWP go. It's all moot anyway cos he'll get a better offer than us.

KWP is just a standard big six cast off who is exactly where he should be. If we sign him we’ve just lost all interest in finding players and we’re just being offered players by agents and saying yes so that the powers that be have to do **** all work
AjcW Posted 4 January 2025 Posted 4 January 2025 Reply’s are funny. Most of you would have been on the “not another Southampton defender” side of this argument a month or so ago. Desperstion does funny things to people

He improves us even if we go down can't believe I've said it but I did🤮

There I’ve said that 2

Hes always been one of their better players. Vestergaard was a weird signing and Bertrand was a disaster.

First person that came in to my head when I saw this… feels like this would just be adding to the rot at the club already.

Didn’t Bertrand come here on a big wage with an injury then had his surgery paid for and injury fixed whilst contributing the square root of fcuk all on the pitch. Now that’s a cracking bit of business.
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 4 January 2025 Popular Post Posted 4 January 2025 At this stage I'd even rather Andi Peters in there than any of our back line. 6
