How would you feel if Forest won the league and could it happen?

Really torn, because I love an underdog but I HATE the Forest.

Don’t want them winning it I don’t think, but I’m happy for them to nick a CL spot just to piss off your Tottenhams of this world.

They’re the big six financially and now the system is setup that they’ll always be the ‘big six’. Even £750bn Newcastle won’t crack that.

They are massively outperforming their statistical numbers 

it would be amazing if they managed t8 qualify for Europe based on that.

Like others have said, they haven’t had an actual decent result against a team that are being expected to finish in the champions league places. They’ve beaten Aston Villa, who even plucky little leicester had a decent shot at beating. If they finish in a decent spot, or even win the league, it will be because of the results in the second half of the season, not by hanging onto the results from the first half of the season.

They beat Liverpool away. 

 

I agree that they haven't done much against the best teams apart from that result, mind.

4 points out of 15 against the rest of the top six this season. There's a chunk in their armour there.

 

In our league winning season, we did this against the top six.

 

Arsenal 0pts

Spurs 4pts

Man City 4pts

Man United 2pts

Southampton 4pts

 

We got 14 out of 30 against the top six. Forest are on course to get 8. That's going to be the difference.

Their egos as a football club were unbearable when they were struggling against Yeovil Town and Cheltenham in League One. Imagine if they get UCL or win something. 

 

A nice humbling second half season collapse would be great.

Hearing Forest fans say they think if they beat Liverpool then they will win the league makes me sick. 

 

Then the presenter comparing their potential title win to ours made me feel sick, mainly because its completely different, given the money spent.

If Liverpool didn't have a game in-hand and also if Forest do beat them, it would've more of a serious claim.

 

Finishing second for them should be celebrated massively, should they achieve it.
