Wasn’t as good as the last couple of years but not the worst race, Max really is in a league of his own when they can get the car working, considering the tractor of a car they delivered in the first half of the season he probably deserves to be much closer or even leading. 
 

Great recovery from Norris, Kimi putting in some incredible late laps to stave off Leclerc deserves a lot of credit too.

I'm always curious how often this failure happens but isn't checked when they do spot checks. 

 

That being said, this is entirely on McLaren and nobody to blame but themselves.

Norris still obviously wins the title unless he completely flunks it, Qatar is a very easy track to just get it round. 
 

Though the gap between the actual best driver and the rest has probably never been bigger in all the time I’ve been watching f1? (Early Schumacher days).
